Hands down, most authentic Mexican I have had outside of Mexico. It was taco Tuesday today so that means $1 off taco prices. We got one of each taco on the menu, plus a big bowl of this fantastic soup.I cant remember the names of any of the foods. It was all good, just go and check this place out for yourself.The service is fast. The waitresses are prompt, and the kitchen prepares food faster than expected.Updated on 2018-12-18: it was music night tonight and there was a pianist and trumpet player on stage. Kitchen was fast a d food quality did not suffer. The single server was slower and needed to be prompted for menus and the bill. Understandable as she was the only one working everything from the bar, to taking orders, to serving food and busting tables.

horrible service. waitress was too busy flirting with her boyfriend during work hours to attend our table. took almost 20 mins just to get her attention for our order and that’s only because the kitchen rang her up. I don’t even know her name because she didn’t even greet us. Later, she was kissing and hugging her boyfriend and then at one point went on her knees?? What is wrong with this place. Also food is 6/10, go to Playa Cabana instead across the street. Place is so bad I had to post the review on google and yelp.

Great food. Had tacos, which were great, and veggie enchiladas, also very good. Guacamole and chips also good.Downside was the service as there didn't seem to be enough staff at the beginning of dinner rush. Also, mistakes were made when they failed to make the enchiladas initially - they came very late.Overall nice vibe and the live music was great. Would recommend.

Food was great, friendly service. Would have been a little more efficient if they had a few more servers on the floor. And hey I'm an artist I know what it's like not to get paid.....but as an artist I also cannot ask clients for money either. It is optional I understand that but the guy was actually really pushy about it and made me feel not very comfortable. I'm only saying this because I think it may turn off some of your clients that want to come back because it's such a great place and the music was great! Charge a cover. People will have to pay and it ensures they get paid something. Prices for the food are fabulous for todays rate of inflation.

The food was good, but one of the servers wasn’t. She walked by and took a drink off the table that she deemed was finished when she didn’t ask if I was done. She also tried to rush my girlfriend and me from our table to make room for other guests when I wasn’t even finished my drink. She single-handedly brought down my rating for the place with her poor service.

What can I say except that I’m blown away.Fantastic live Jazz duo playing, cool and eclectic decor, professional yet warm service and perhaps the best Mexican food I’ve had in Toronto. Amazing place.

The food and service were amazing. It is a great local joint with live music. I accidentally left my wallet on the table and they sprinted across the block to come find me and return it.

Food was good. I found the alcoholic drinks and beer well priced. I went on a Friday night and they had excellent live music (from 7 to 10). Apparently live music is there a few times in the week.

Our experience was hit and miss. I’ll start with the good. The service was really good, the servers were all so nice and friendly. The place is clean. The corn and jalapeño poppers were really good and we would come back just for those.For mains we got enchiladas and fajitas. They weren’t bad but they weren’t our favourite either. The green sauce with fajitas was very small and everything was a little on the bland side. It didn’t feel worth the price point. The hot sauce helped. Enchiladas were also okay, not bad but not outstanding.The one strange thing was that the restaurant had a live band and the band came around while we were eating to tell us they had a surcharge (pay as you wish) but it was weird. I’ve never experienced this at any other restaurant with a live band. I’m also not a huge fan of live music so it was strange to pay for something you don’t particularly enjoy.Other than that, I would come back to try other items on the menu and can recommend the corn and jalapeño poppers, those were really good.
