Asian Gourmet

Preface: There are two Asian buffet-style restaurants in this food court, and one of them isn't as good as this one.I often eat here and it's the highlight of my day. It might be because I always approach in a friendly manner or I'm a repeat customer, but the people here are always very friendly deliver some real great food, granted I'm always asking for chicken.If you get the timing right during the lunch rush you can get some of the best chicken around.Unfortunately, the rate that customers come through varies a lot. There are often groups that come through the city on busses that stop by here for lunch and rapid influx of customers causes turnover of the food to rise drastically, so of course at those times you'll get fresher food but it's very difficult to tell when those groups come in.For around $13 you can get a sizable meal that beats the pants off any of the fast food in the city and you will definitely be satisfied, as long as they have what you like.

Food tasted old. Noodles were crunchy. No fork or napkins given. Too expensive for such poor quality.

If I could give this place no stars I would, after work I went to grab some food (first time customer).. the Chinese lady was so rude to myself saying you taking too long to decide, I just lost two customers because of you, she began to keep repeating her self, I said this is very rude customer service, she than told me to never come back?? took me by surprise.. don’t worry I will not be back with awful service you provide!

We normally enjoyed this place but lately it's been less then par. We order the beef and veggies and honestly the lady goes out of her to make sure we don't get more then a piece and a half of beef. If I could attach a photo I would. Just frustrating when service and quality used to be better. It's also not a one off because we gave it a second go in two weeks and it was the same. We watch the lady pick out the beef even though there is a mound of it.

Had a great lunch here. Everything tasted delicious, my daughter loved it too.

I'm sorry to say but this place is far far away from being decent. The fried rice tastes as if a whole can of soy sauce was dumped in it. The general tao tastes like someone dumped the whole bag of sugar into it and the noodles were stale. I asked for half rice and half noodles and what I got was barely any rice and barely any noodles. The cost of the food is not on par with other locations and on top of this you get sub par food. The food also tastes a bit off which is unsettling. This place needs to be visited by local health authorities as it looks like food is not being stored correctly or is being exposed for too long.TLDR: would not recommend place unless you want to dump money and have a stomach ache

Anything but gourmet food was room temperature and broccoli overcooked aswell the rice was dry all tasted as if had been sitting for hours very sad was looking forward to it

This is great Chinese Canadian food. Really delicious noodles, sweet and sour pork, spring rolls, etc. Tastes exactly like the takeout you remember if you’re looking for a bit of a nostalgic treat. Excellent service, as well. One of the better Chinese options in Belleville. Would definitely recommend!

The only reason i gave atmosphere a 3 is because it can get crowded at the mall as for the people who work at Asian gourmet they are very friendly and kind the food is fantastic and they have a great location in the mall to sit and eat.
