Boardmore Playhouse - Cape Breton University | Our History Liz and Harry Boardmore came to Sydney in 1966. They did not waste any time setting bold and imaginative goals for drama here. In their first year they sought out talent within both the college and community to produce Arthur Miller’s THE CRUCIBLE which was stage for two nights at Sydney’s Vogue Theatre

The theatre where everybody can try to be an actor. You don't have to have any drama education to participate in plays. In case, you just want to enjoy an artful performance, this place is also definitely for you.

Fantastic theater with a classical raised seating auditorium. Amazing talent from all over the island consisting of both students at the university and from the public, with 3-4 shows a year and a week of one act plays directed and starring the community. Tickets are at a great price with donate what you can nights available.
