I went to Anderson College during Covid for the Medical Laboratory Technical program. It was online for the first 8 months and then in class for the last 4 months. The experience was good overall except that our teachers kept leaving and we kept getting new inexperienced replacements to teach the program.Thankfully at the end though, Helen Lemieux came into our lives and her extensive years of experience as a Laboratory Technologist in Tranfusion medicine really taught us how to excel in the Laboratory Technician world. I currently work in a hospital and I have Anderson college to thank for making my career dreams come true :)

The first time that I walk into Anderson College, it was like walking into a new world of career that you can choose from. I have learn a lots with the program that I selected. The advisor there will help you with any problems that you are having regarding to your program. They are very professional with a great knowledge to fix anything that you give them. I'm just one week away from finishing my program with this college. Thank you for your help for me with this new career that I'm about to start.

Here is the full truth, no holding back. The recruiters (admissions counsellors) are incredible; they are very present, helpful, informative, supportive. 5 stars, above and beyond love to them, same goes for their student financial team.I took the psy hybrid course - majority of it online, 3 weeks in person, 8 weeks of placement. The online portion wasn't the worst, however we had a temporary teacher for most of it and then a sudden switch to someone else with a drastically different teaching style was less than welcome. We were all told we needed to have our health forms and vaccinations in only prior to beginning our 3 weeks in person. What we weren't told was that if we didn't have them in before midterm, which was a month earlier, we wouldn't receive our second OSAP portion. Trying to contact anyone at the school is a nightmare; emails go unanswered, I had to CC the director just to get a response to an email I had replied to. No one answers the phones either. Our instructor for the in person portion was iiiincredible. So knowledgeable, understanding, REAL. However, the left hand didn't know what the right was doing in the building; our teacher wasn't informed of everything, it was all a guessing game.We were all under the impression that our placement officer would assign us a placement, we learned during our second week (aka 2 weeks before we were to begin placement) that we were to try to find our own first. One of my classmates wasn't told her placement until our very last day.Which brings me to the next issue: the placement officer told me my placement and I asked questions such as when do I start? What shift is it? Should I call them and set up orientation? She literally told me don't sweat it" and that she will handle it. 24 hours later I received an urgent email from her telling me to call my placement

My name is Filip and I was a student there. The place could use some renovations in its interior as well as have a larger sign outside. Classes are small and teachers were experienced in the field.

Midway through my MLA course in Hamilton downtown campus. First thing I want to say is Nanji our teacher is terrific. Always willing to answer questions anytime of day. He is very knowledgeable and patient. We all love Carla too. All of the teachers are willing to answer questions and offer suggestions. With all of the Covid restrictions we spent a lot of time learning online, I am very excited to get to class in person on a full time basis soon. The staff seem to be reworking a lot of the space on campus to accommodate the increase in students. The location may be convenient for me, but downtown Hamilton is sketchy at best. The facilities are ok. Always stock issues in the lab, common glove sizes, venipuncture needles and tubes. That's unfortunate and the only reason for the 3 stars.

The best decision I’ve made in my life. Best college I have seen. Stuff are nice, friendly, and always ready to help. Teachers are careful about making sure you fully understand what they teach you. I am glad that I got the opportunity to study at Anderon College and meet wonderful people like them.

I honestly thank Anderson College of Health, Business and Technology Hamilton, On campus, for introducing me to one of the best instructors I have ever had the pleasure of learning from for a few months. Hamy Muzaffar changed the way I view Occupational Health and Safety. He helped me overcome some of my fears in presenting my PowerPoint assignments and how research must be conducted. Every student will become a better person because of him in the Occupational Health and Safety program at Anderson College.
