The Fort is recognized as Western New York's most popular State Historic Site, having welcomed over 7.5 million visitors.

Friendly place with plenty of souvenirs and tourist information, and a lot of books and historical stuff to enjoy and learn from.

Disappointed that it only opens on Wednesday to Friday! I was here on Tuesday and there is no information. Saw two full bus loads with Asian visitors here! Poor them
