Owner was rude and insulting - do not stay here!I stayed at the B&B for 3 nights. The room was fine, if quite small.The breakfast was acceptable, although inflexible. There was a choice of 4 breakfasts and the menu said items were not interchangeable and any changes were 5 dollars per item.However, I was booked on a boat tour which did not run due to bad weather. I didn't have an issue with that, I had an issue with the fact I had to walk for 40 minutes to the boat dock to be informed last minute it was cancelled and felt there should be a notice about whether the tour is running before you commit to the walk.When I mentioned this at the B&B, the owner, Carson, said that wasn't possible, but I obviously knew better than the boat company. I said I'd been on boats in Antarctica which is the roughest crossing on earth and on boats on the fiords in New Zealand. He then started quizzing me about my boating knowledge. I said I didn't claim to be a sailing expert, but I worked as a tour guide and I did know about tourism and I had to cancel tours sometimes. He said in 18 years running a B&B he'd never had anyone else complain about the boat tour. He continued to argue with me to the point where I felt uncomfortable. I don't know if he had a vested interest in the boat company and that was the reason he was defending them, but his attitude to a paying guest was insulting.As a tour guide, I know the first rule of hosting is not to argue with your customers. After 18 years of running a B&B, I would have expected him to know that too! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect place to crash in Rocky Harbour. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. The room was great and there's a deck to relax on. Would definitely stay here again.

Hosts were very welcoming and attentionate to details. Also helped us with suggestions for local attractions. Great breakfast! Would stay again in a jiffy, god bless their cotton socks ;-)

Carson and Sarah are absolutely wonderful hosts. We stayed here for 4 nights during our two week trip to Newfoundland. Carson provided helpful advice on places to hike and things to do. Sarah cooked very delicious breakfasts with homemade bread and jams. Location is perfect for exploring Gros Morne National Park and surrounding area. Highly recommend.
