Slate Church Waterloo
Slate Church is such a positive Christian community to be apart of. I have brought a few people to church just to try it out and now they ask to go together every week. This is a great space of worship and building community with followers of Jesus.

Such a welcoming church with a big emphasis on community ❤️ I’ve met some of my closest friends here and I am so thankful for all the memories created along the way. The sermons are powerful, relatable and overall moving. Sunday at Slate is always a good time. The worship team is also incredible!

These people are passionate about their Christianity, but I'd like to see more humility from leadership in the future. I am not in the business of showing off my faith to prove something to the rest of society. I do not give gifts to people just to show off on social media about how much I give. This type of giving isn't even in alignment with the true biblical purpose of giving. When you give gifts, you stay quiet about it.

To put into words how grateful I am for Slate is an impossible task. The kids programming is incredible. To the parent reading this looking for a place their child can learn about God - Look no further!! My oldest literally asks just about daily, if we can go to Slate Church.It is such a wonderful group of people from all ages that attend Slate. So thankful for the Lead Pastors and Lead Team and all the volunteers. A place we can finally call home <3

The 7pm services at Maxwell's are great for students! I felt very welcomed. I joined a Local group and have made some lovely friends from it. There are oppportunities to serve our community that I wouldn't have thought about before.
