The name says it all. If you want reliable, quality car repairs and very reasonable rates, you can trust the owner Jason and his team of mechanics to deliver. I have been a Payless customer for 20 years.

Upon a recommendation from a friend, in the fall of 2018 I went to Payless Automotive Centre to have a vehicle inspected which I was considering buying at the time. Jason and his staff at Payless did an extremely thorough analysis and told me what would need to be done, how much it would likely cost me, and what I should pay for the vehicle should I choose to buy it. This analysis was done at a fair and reasonable price. I did not purchase that car, but what I did get was a GREAT automotive repair shop where I can bring my vehicle to have all of its mechanical needs taken care of at a fair and reasonable price. Jason, Lucy and the entire staff are extremely professional and friendly, and any work I get done is performed fast and right the first time. No going back a day later to say it hasn't been fixed. Payless Automotive Centre is a hidden gem of a car repair shop tucked behind Memorial Avenue on Fort William Road across from Food Warehouse. It is well worth a visit for your ailing car's needs.

Garbage slow service will never go there again as well I dont reccomend this place to anyone. They guess what the problem is fix it and then tell you something else is wrong with you vehicle. I'll explain went there for a check engine light i told them it would come on for a week the go off again for about 2 weeks. I told them I thought it might a white they hooked up the machine and it told them injector 5 was messed up so they changed that as well as the number 5 spark plug when they were done they said problem was still there and that it was my PCm that was fired so I went and bought new pcm 500 dollars and paid payless 825 for the work they had done that didnt tix the problem so now I've spent 1325 there had my van for a week and I still have the same problem so I put new pcm kn ans lakehead reprogrammed it for me and guess what the problem was still there and I never needed a new pcm nor injector nor spark plug. After this i had lakehead take a look at it and they found that the problem all along was a white grounding out so another 350 to have that diagnosed and repaired so now we are up to 1700 and i now have to pay 750 for the rental I've had all this time. So 2450 dollars later and my van runs fine now. And I wanted 2100 dollars of my savings. Garbage garbage garbage stay away from here

Unnecessary repairs and overpriced. Problem didnt get fixed. The noise came back the next day. After my mechanic looked again, this was the issue of vacume line. They do have good communication and customer service, but the repairs are unnessary and expensive.

Replaced both lower and upper control arms and ball joints plus lower inner tie rod ends. 16 months and 8k later I had to re do them all again. They were so bad that they ruined my tires which will cost me another 2000 on top of the 2000 I had to pay Badanai to re do the job with OEM parts. I also paid less at the dealership for the OEM parts and not the junk Payless used. I can't believe how much this place costed me. I do not recommend and will never return.
