Saguenay Fjord National Park
This park is massive and so stunning. So diverse. We were here for one day and it was not nearly enough time so we will have to come back. The Fjords are breathtaking. I read the review that the hike to the statue is challenging so we drove to the lookout in the L’anse area. Views are amazing. Then did the 1.6k loop near the discovery centre which was also beautiful and offered amazing and completely different views from ground level. We then drove over to the baie margurite area and walked beluga lookout. Sadly no whales to be found. Really underestimated how large this park is. Everything is a very far drive away from each other. The free ferry At the mouth of the river was very helpful though. Would love to stay and camp next time so we are able to do more of it. Another challenging part was that the staff don’t speak a word of English. And all the maps and signs are exclusively French as well which is frustrating. Unlike the actual national parks which are bilingual. We eventually figure it out, just took some extra googling.

I would say the best national park in Quebec!I recommend the hiking and the activities in the lake! The view is unbelievable when you take a tour of the lake or when you hike to the top!The good thing is there’s a charging station for electic car nearby.

Beautiful park with amazing views!! The fjords are so serene and spectacular! The hikes are not for the faint-hearted though. But the effort is well worth it. If you only have a few hours to spend here, I would recommend doing the monument/statue trail. It is strenuous and involves climbing up and down a ton of stairs. But well worth it!

What a beautiful place!!! I am a geologist and I have a great fascination for the processes related to the formation of fjords. I have visited several fjords all around the world the world and this one is really special. Not only because it is the southernmost fjord in the northern hemisphere, but because it offers perfect views and trails are in perfect conditions. I did the sentier de la statue". It was fascinating. There are three perfect viewpoints to appreciate the landscape

This park has a stunning landscape and great views of the protected whale habitat.Great camping options that are more connected with nature than you’d find at a typical campground or rv park including tents, cabins & bring your own areas.Beluga whales - while I was there we could easily see a pod of 30-40 whales feeling in the fjord. Pretty incredible sight.

Extremely well maintained trail. Excellent hike. Very steep so come prepared for a workout. The discovery centre is great and well stocked. Beautiful views. Lots of activities with hiking and kayaking being the main ones.

Amazing place. The views from the top were breathtaking. Did the hike to the statue. Took us around 3 hours round trip. Surprisingly no bugs when we hiked but there were lots at the car parking lot.

Drive to the park if you are coming or going to Sagueney is amazing. Road is great condition and views are spectacular. Assuming you have a good car you are going to enjoy it.Low tide at the time of writing so some of the Fjords did not look as impressive as advertised. However still great views and huge varity of hiking trails. Warning most of it are in vertical plane. So get some hiking rods your knees will thank you

We entered from the Eternity bay session, and did the « Bellevue » hike. I’m not a very active person in hiking, and this hike is very challenging for me. It goes up almost vertically for 2 km, my legs were trembling while reaching the Bellevue spot. I didn’t continue doing the “statue” hike as it’s another 2 km. The view is super beautiful from the Bellevue spot, but if you would like to see similar view without that much of difficult hiking, drive 20-30 minutes to the national park’s L'Anse-Saint-Jean entrance, and within 10-minutes hike you will get to the same stunning view!
