Hillside Acres Wedding Venue

My husband and I got married at hillside acres a couple days ago. We were originally supposed to get married in September of 2020 but due to covid had decided to post pone. The owners of the venue were extremely understanding and a pleasure to work with! I had heard horror stories of other venues not letting couples post pone and refusing to give any money back. The people at hillside acres honestly want the best for their couples and do everything they can to ensure you have the best day possible!The venue is absolutely stunning. We are so lucky we found it and I wouldn't change anything about it. The owners are so friendly and easy going. They answered all my emails and were only a phone call away if we needed anything throughout the day.We would highly recommend hillside acres!

We were originally supposed to be married in 2020 but due to COVID 19 we had to postpone... we had to pick a new venue as our original venue didn't have the availability we needed. This is the only instance I am glad COVID 19 happened! Hillside Acres is the most BEAUTIFUL property you could ever imagine. Jody and Rikki are an absolute dream team and so easy to work with. You can tell that they are very proud of their venue (as they should be!). It is evident by all the thoughtful added touches throughout the entire venue. We have had so many guests tell us that our wedding was the best they had ever been to and it was largely due to Hillside. After the ceremony, our guests were able to walk right to the reception space and visit. IT IS SO MUCH BETTER than the usual 4-5 hour break you have to take while the newlyweds go for photos. I am sad I won't be as in touch with Rikki and Jody anymore as they truly make you feel apart of the Hillside family. Thank you for creating such an amazing venue. We were able to have the wedding of our dreams and we have the Hillside team to thank for that!

We were married at Hillside last weekend - July 9/22. All I can really say is wow!The venue is stunning, the Hillside team is absolutely fantastic to work with and the little (and not so little) details that they have thought of are amazing.Right from the time we toured the venue and booked, Jody was super easy to work with and responded to any of our questions very quickly. In the months leading up to the wedding they stayed in touch as needed and were always available if we had any questions.Being able to have the venue at noon on the day before for setting up and having a rehearsal was great - no other venue that we toured included this in their price, it was always an additional cost. On top of that, having the house on site for the girls to stay in the night before and get ready in the morning of was also a game changer! We had a great little girls night and being able to have hair and makeup come to you while your in your robes sipping coffee was great.The décor that Hillside has available for your use was beautiful and took away a lot of stress that sourcing all of that yourself would have caused. The entire Hillside site from the house, ceremony site, tent, the tables and chairs, bathrooms, grassy areas are so beautiful and well maintained! The site makes for beautiful photos! Even when our vendors asked where the wedding was, they were all super quick to tell us how great and beautiful Hillside is!Now I know I am a little biased on this :-) - but we had several people who attended our wedding tell us that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to, and most of that is owed to the team at Hillside and all the care they have poured into the venue!If you are thinking about having your wedding here - absolutely do it! It is worth every penny!!

Hillside Acres is the most beautiful venue! We got married June 4, 2022 and it was the most perfect day! From the very beginning the Hillside team was very easy to work and communicate with! They also provided us a list of their preferred vendors which was super helpful! Almost all our vendors came from that list and made the process of finding vendors very easy! All our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and they loved having the ceremony and reception all in the same place. Including decor with the venue was huge! We only had to bring a few decor items and personal touches which made planning so much easier. Also the lawn games were a huge hit, our guests played them until it was dark out and they couldn't play anymore! The ceremony site is also beautiful, we were lucky to have the cherry blossom tree while it was in bloom and it was so gorgeous! The aisle was lined with the pink petals and it was so pretty. Also having the house the day before the wedding was so nice! We were able to have a BBQ with all our family and friends the night before and really enjoy our time with everyone! Not only that but the getting ready suite was so convenient for me and my girls to get ready in the morning! There is plenty of space for everyone and allowed for a relaxing morning of getting ready!We had our dream wedding at Hillside and would recommend anyone to get married there!

Dream come true!!! My husband and I are so happy that we went with Hillside as our wedding venue! Owners, Jody, Shane, Rikki & James made sure that our day was perfect! Working with them was an absolute breeze and they were incredibly receptive to all of my questions. The grounds are upkept to perfection, the bridal house was a great treat for me and my bridesmaids the night before the wedding and the proximity to Camrose is great for guests! The amount of love and hard work that has went into building this gem is crystal clear. The extras they include like their many lawn games and heaps of decor are just the cherry on top of their services! Rikki even went to the extra effort of potting some of the succulents from our leftover centrepieces to gift us! Thank you so much, Hillside team, for your hard work and for going above and beyond to make our wedding dreams come true!

Hillside staff was amazing to work with, and the venue was absolutely gorgeous! We received so many compliments from our guests and it made for such an easy, low-stress wedding!

My husband and I got married at hillside acres October 2nd of 2021. We originally planned for October of 2020, but due to COVID we had to postpone. I thought having to replan my wedding was going to be a nightmare, however thanks to the Hillside Acres crew it was quite the opposite. The crew was there to answer all of questions, show me the venue multiple times and also was there for me emotionally. Countless times they reassured me that my day was going to perfect and they weren't wrong. My day was absolutely perfect! From the ceremony infront of the pond with the fountain to the reception under the stars. It was the most beautiful day! I honestly cannot rave about this place enough! If your looking for a wedding venue that is so unique and a crew who truly cares about making your day special, I would suggest Hillside Acres for your big day❤

This is truly a top 10 Wedding Venue just 40 minutes south of the city of Edmonton. Shane, Jody and the rest of their family who run Hillside are the greatest. They exceeded our every expectation. Only downside, we will only get married there once ;) Thank you so much for the unforgettable day. It is one we along with our guests will never forget.
