Chinese Bakery
My favorite place to get dessert after eating out at the BBQ/seafood restaurants in Chinatown (the sponge cake is particularly nice). You can even get a full meal here with things like pork buns, spring rolls, and pork dumplings.Self selection is easy with lots of variety and prices are low with friendly cashier. Only thing that could use improvement is that not every baked good is always available.

Best pineapple bun, mochi, and egg tart that I have ever had. This beats anything that I have had in Hong Kong, Taiwan, New York, etc. the pineapple bun was super fluffy, mochi was extra soft, egg tart custard was smooth and the tart shell was spot on. Cash only! Highly recommend.

(THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH)The almond cookie was very good, this bakery is VERY popular in China town and they have a wide selection of traditional Chinese bakery items. The price here is unfortunately very high compared to other stores. This cookie was $1.5, whereas in Mashion Bakery (Chinese bakery a block away) has 3 of these cookies for only $3 in a pack. The taste and texture was on point. Super buttery and rich. The customer service here was good, I would perhaps come again, but I prefer other Chinese bakeries. Also make sure you come EARLY as things sell out quickly.

Cash-only, great on the pocket bakery. They have a bunch of things on offer and it tastes good. My go-to purchases usually are the cheesecakes. The cookies are good too.

Fantastic little bakery on Dundas West in the heart of Chinatown! I stopped in on a whim and bought a variety of buns to try. Each one tasted wonderfully fresh, moist and fluffy. My personal favourites were the curry bun which was very rich with flavour, as well as the pineapple bun, which had an excellent crumbly top that tasted heavenly. Note that they only accept cash here, but the prices are VERY reasonable and I was able to afford half a dozen buns for fewer than $8. I’ll definitely be stopping by here again on my next visit to Toronto so I can try more of their selection!

Decent bakery, but nothing spectacular. Trays are laid out and you serve yourself with tongs. The staff was very business-like. They weren't unfriendly, but all the interactions with customers are transactional in nature, so if friendly greetings are what you're looking for, you won't find that here. There's a large variety of buns, cakes, and cookies to choose from and the staff are constantly refilling the trays throughout the day. So the products are fresh.I had purchased egg tarts, almond cookies, peanut sticky rice cakes among other items. I've had better versions of most of the things I purchased elsewhere, but they were good enough that I'd consider returning if I really had a craving and this was the most convenient option available.

Been here a few time a before. Chinese bakery selling many different kinds of baked goods and desserts. They bake throughout the day so good chances it's warm. Decor is nothing special and neither is the staff or service but the buns are sure damn tasty especially when they're warm. I will return when I'm looking for some Chinese baked goods and definitely recommend to those looking for the same.

Solid Hong Kong style Chinese bakery with less common items like chicken biscuit. I like to grab their bbq pork pineapple bun (no actual pineapple) first thing in the morning before grocery shopping. Needs a quick oven refresh if you buy later in the day. Serviceable eats and convenient location keeps this in my regular rotation.

Price is cheaper than many other Asian bakeries!! Tried the pineapple red bean bun, coconut tart and egg tart, they are all above average! Not bad, I will definitely come back and try other buns!

Good selection, very affordable but only accepts cashSmall, super affordable Chinese bakery with a good selection of baked goods and foods. I loved the Sesame Rice Balls and went back every day while in Toronto. There are tables to eat in, but really no atmosphere to speak of, so we just did the grab-and-go. Be aware that they do ONLY accept cash!
