Everyone at Old North Optometry is professional, friendly and knowledgable. Dr. Pepe is excellent -- the most thorough eye exam I've ever had. Linda helped me select frames. Her choices for me were fabulous! I bought three pairs of glasses based on her recommendations. Most importantly she made sure the fit and lenses were right. I highly recommend Old North Optometry.

The optometrist, Dr Pepe, and her staff at this business are courteous, organized, efficient and professional. This was our first time receiving their services and we have never had such a thorough eye examination. We are at an age where these checkups are important for eye health maintenance and to identify or prevent future eye health issues. In particular, I want to give a positive shout out to the eyewear technician, Linda, who was very professional, patient and went above and beyond her service in giving us the correct lens prescriptions and ensuring that we were completely satisfied! She even happily tightened and fitted an old, but expensive pair of my sunglasses for me at no charge. We understand the pressures of customer satisfaction and supply and delivery delays these days, but this business does everything it can to accommodate and advise its customers. My husband went to Old North Optometry and had a great experience! Everyone was practising safe COVID protocols, and the staff was amazing. Very kind and personable. Easy to talk to, and answered all questions! First time appointment was quick and efficient. Parking was free and easy to find a spot. Upon booking the appointment, the receptionist was so thorough and so kind. You can tell she's great at her job. Can't say enough good things! :)

After waiting half an hour for my appointment, i approached the desk and was told they were running 1.5 HOURS behind - they just assumed i would sit and wait that long. Please be more communicative and upfront and let the clients DECIDE if they want to waste all that time.

There are so many good things I can say about my experience here. It was one of the best customer service experiences ever. I got an appointment in less than 24 hrs. There was a thorough and comprehensive inspection of my eyes. Dr. Pepe was knowledgeable, competent and professional. She was not however pretentious or condescending. It is evident that she loves her work and has found her calling. She allowed me to run to work mid appointment and return at my convenience while I waited for my eyes to fully dilate. When I returned she was detailed in explaining some potential issues to be monitored but was not hasty to recommend potentially unnecessary treatment.Her staff were great and it seemed like they all genuinely loved providing service. While they showed me a lot of different styles of glasses, I did not feel pressured to purchase from them and ignored when I did not immediately commit. The environment and ambiance is great. The building is very nicely designed and has amazing decor. I can go on and on about how pleasant my experience there was but I think you get the point.

Dr. Pepe has great staff, but sadly she is extremely rude. I referred my parents and Dr Pepe was so rude to my mother, I refuse to go back. If you want to be treated extremally poorly, pay way too much, and wait hours for your appointment - this is the place to go!
