Duke's Fine Ice Cream

Duke's Toffee Chip flavour left me elated. The combination of sweetness and smoothness in this particular flavour was simply outstanding.The Toffee Chip ice cream at Duke's is a true masterpiece. When I took my first spoonful, I was greeted with a rich, creamy, flawlessly smooth base. The texture was incredibly velvety, and it practically melted in my mouth. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, not overpowering but still enough to satisfy any sweet tooth. The toffee chips were generously scattered throughout the ice cream, adding a delightful crunch and a caramel-like flavour that complemented the creaminess exquisitely.What truly impressed me, though, was the attentiveness and efficiency of the staff, especially when faced with long lineups. Duke's Ice Cream is undoubtedly a popular spot, and it's not uncommon to find a crowd eagerly waiting to get their treats. However, the staff at Duke's handled the long lineups with remarkable skill and grace.Despite the high demand, the staff remained composed and attentive to each customer. They greeted everyone with a warm smile and took the time to provide personalized recommendations based on individual preferences. Their knowledge of the menu and flavours was exceptional, allowing them to guide customers through the vast array of choices available.It was evident that the staff took great pride in their work and genuinely cared about providing an exceptional experience to every customer.

Have been regular to the place and love their Rose pistachio, rum & raisin. Honey lavender is good too.. but recently noticed the ice creams not being as flavourful as before. The staff earlier was so amazing and never refused tastings, unfortunately can’t say great things about the new ones. Would give them a try one last time and see if the taste is back (like before!).

Always a great experience at Duke's! We went right at opening on a week day, so there was only 1 person working at the front. Service was a touch slower than normal, but because the service level is so high, it didn't matter! Flavours were great except for the Ginger Molasses Cookie which didn't have a lot of flavour in the actual ice cream, but the cookies were good. Highly recommend the Salted Caramel and Cookies and Cream!

Clean store, great service, decent ice cream. The shop is nice and clean and the one staff member there was amazing. She was kind to all the guests that entered the store and very quick to hand pack the pints I ordered. They did a good job packing the pints too.I have only tried one flavor so far - Rose Pistachio - and I can say it is definitely worth trying. I guess the ice cream is rose" flavored (it tastes good)

Decent ice cream bar! Lots of selection of flavours and prices are fair for the variety. The interior however is cramped and I would advise the owners to invest in outdoor seating. That said, a wonderful independent ice cream store for Clayton residents!

One of the best ice creameries in the lower mainland! It is worth the drive and there are other good foodie gems in the area to make a day of it if you’re from the other side of the bridge like me. The staff are so kind and it was family owned and operated but last night noticed some nice new additions to the team! Im glad they are busy and able to onboard new staff and hope this means expansion to other locations!!The flavours are nearly endless and they have a great selection of ice creams, sorbets and milkshakes/floats. Anything ending in “cereal milk” is a MUST (I mean, if you love cereal and milk and great flavour). They have a flight option that gives you 4 choices if you cannot decide, like me, and is a superb deal to check off some flavours in one go.

After visiting Tommie’s Jerk and enjoying his spicy Jerk Chicken Burrito, my wife and I were in serious need of some soothing ice cream. A quick Google search pointed us to Duke’s only 7 mins away. So glad we came. The lovely staff greeted us with enthusiasm and served up the some of the best ice cream we’ve had in years. Delicious, velvety smooth, and sensational flavours!Although we’ve been watching our calories lately, this was a splurge we did not want to miss. I had a double scoop with the Milk Chocolate Toffee Chip and Salted Caramel. She had the double scoop of Lemon Blueberry Swirl and Peanut Butter Fudge Swirl. Everything we had was pure heaven. The in-store made quality really shows with the silky texture and fresh ingredients.This will be our new stop every time we drive by and need a sugar high! Thanks again Duke’s!
