This is the wrong side to park on. You have to drive twenty minutes to get to the more accessible side. - talked to some nice people, you can access from this side pretty easily but you have to hike down a road. Ammonite falls are amazing.

Beautiful spot. Have to climb down a bit of a bank to get to the falls, but there are lots of ropes to help you. There is one tough spot that prevents dogs from easily getting down to the water.

April 2021 hike to the falls for the first. We have unknown beauty all around Vancouver Island. I am looking forward to hiking in from the otherside soon. Signs are posted saying there are many improvements to come. Nice!

Great hike but my car was towed!!! The tiny parking lot was full so i parked on the street when i returned my car was gone(i didnt notice the signs...doh!). I now know there's a bigger better lot on Weigles road.
