New Frontier Bar & Hotel

The room was dirty. There was blood in the bathroom.The manager would not refund or a apologized.The place is gross. Find a tree, it's cleaner.

Giving three stars for the renovated rooms. The hotel is dated but slowly changing. Prices are higher than normal. No restaurant. Let’s put it this way if u arrive after supper there is nothing open to eat. Bed was ok. Found out why u can smell smoke. They allow it in there rooms.

Disturbingly bad but common for rural Alberta unfortunatelyI was walked in on while getting ready in the morning by a creepy old male in sweatpants (their maid) who said that the room was stating as being a checkout. Well checkout is 11am and it was 8am.It would be nice if people took more pride in the way things looked even though I imagine income for the property is low.

Little hesitant staying here after seeing the reviews however the hotel must have been renovated and new owners since then pleasantly relieved. Work takes me on the road alot and rural alberta hotels are a hit or miss. Will be booking here again. Was clean and one of the quieter rooms I have been in. Couldnt hear other guests walking around or TVs through the walls extra bonus.

Absolutely disgusting I got charged for a room I dropped my bags off in see bugs messy bed went to my truck immediately to find another hotel went back in and the guy refused to refund me and on a side note he was coughing alot becareful at this place

When I called to see if there were any rooms available for the night, the desk person was very rude, have me a humph and hung up on me when I said I'd call back in a few minutes to book it after I called my husband who needed the room. Very unprofessional! I would not recommend booking with this hotel even in a pinch!

The new owners have made some major changes Gere from what it used to be. They take pride in their building and the staff are always very hospital. They have a very good selection of games to play in the bar!

My son is the bartender and is great at it.. nice renovations done since I worked there. Place looks better wish it was busier tho

It has the potential to be great!But the renovations should be done in the rooms, instead of making the lobby and bar look good. And being such a small town, and covid I love supporting local business. But I will never step foot in there again. I hope you get all your renovations done and thrive eventually.

Since this place is under new management its a world better than it was just a couple years ago...The renovations make it better in the bar and in the lobby of the hotel and i thought it was much better with being open 7 days a week but seriously what good is being open if your going there to gamble and the machines are turned off and the owner refused to turn them on... Isnt that against aglc standards? I mean at 9 or 10 pm when the bar is open the vlts should be on but they were not.Then on top of that when i went to go visit a friend there i had to walk through a train wreck of a hallway with part of the ceiling missing and a bucket in the middle of the floor!! Plus it being the first time i had tried to find the hallway to get to all the rooms i was completly lost.. I seriously felt like i was going through an employees only area just to find a hallway to the rooms..Anyways on a last positive note i can say that all of the bartenders in the bar are pretty awesome.. Kuera, lucas and not sure the other guys name but they are all good at theyre jobs and friendly to be around.
