Dufresne Furniture & Appliances Store

Ordered 2 different end tables that sales person said would be very similar wood. Paid 99.00 for delivery because she said they would need some assembly. They didn’t. I would have picked them up myself if I had known that. Paid 139.00 for damage insurance. Sent one back immediately as colour was way wrong. Didn’t return first one as I was sick and they found another to go with it. But a few weeks after ordering, the company didn’t have it. I was still sick. Had two calls with salesperson asking to cancel insurance as I don’t want to pay for damage insurance on a 200.00 table. Twice she told me I would be refunded the insurance. I wasn’t. Went in today to talk to a manager. Her attitude was that I was the problem. She couldn’t refund delivery fee because I got a table. Couldn’t refund insurance as insurance company wouldn’t allow it. I eventually got 45.00 refund for insurance on table I didn’t get, which left 100.00 on a 200.00 table. She made no effort whatsoever to come to any sort of a solution, or to acknowledge that this is a very frustrating situation. Apparently she feels it is perfectly ok to pay 450.00 for a 200.00 table that I don’t even want now that I can’t get one to go with it and it’s too late to return it.I am obviously very unhappy with them.

Our completely full upright freezer decide it was done with life. Luckily Emily was able to help us out. She had the only freezer big enough that was in stock, in Thunder Bay and was able to get it delivered the next day!! Excellent customer service. Thank you so much for all your help.

Very poor customer service. Few months back I bought bunch of furniture which cost me almost 10,000$ But now my sectional couch and seats have been already pressed and lints came out from the couch. When asked for help they suggested buy lints shaver and puff the seats by yourself. While purchasing Sales person didn't inform about the regular maintenance of the sofa. Very disappointed with the service. Will never return again.

I get places want to make a sale even with floor items but normally having worked in customer service you still make sure you go by your word. You make sure the item is clean and if management even says it comes with the original box that it does or it is wrapped. Not thrilled about not having the stock item scratched, the stainless steel rubbed off and left backing from the stores sale list and a missing piece. Called the store and asked to speak to the manager (Jason) since he was the one we also dealt with buying the item. No return phone call from him to rectify anything. For spending $1700 for a dishwasher, not worth it. I won't be going back for any items if that's their customer service.

So my order was supposed to come on the 25th, no one called so I called them to check in. The person then said it was delayed until the 6th, I asked if there was another mattress available and rather then check they just transferred me around a bunch of times snd said I would have to go online to check. I then canceled and am waiting for the confirmation email However I have not received that yet either

Emily was absolutely fantastic to deal with! She wasn't pushy and took time to help us out with all our questions! Such a great experience with her!

We ended up coming to this store to test out some couches. After deciding which one we liked, we went online and ordered it a few days later as we didn't want to go back out. It happened pretty quick. A week later, I was contacted in regards to the couch as it was ready to be dropped off. Today, John and his coworker delivered the couch with utmost care, and were attentive to detail, making sure to not cause any damage to anything. They were super kind and pleasant to deal with.

Waited 6 months, paid thousands for the couch to come in with a R sided chaise instead of L and it doesn’t work in my living room. Their solution is to wait another 6 months for a new one. Would not recommend. Delivery driver was 10/10 though!

The salesman Jason was excellent, did not pressure us into buying. He gave us a quote and just left us to look around. We went to other store's but returned to Dufrenes because of Jason and his excellent customer service! We love our new sofa and love seat!

Solid well built table. Dufresne delivery was the best. Was kept up to date with delivery schedule in real time. The guys setting up were the best very knowledgeable of the product. Have purchased furniture from a lot of different stores but the best experience start to finish is Dufresne.
