I am very lucky to have found Char. I started my lock journey November 2022 without much loving it but after she retwisted it for me, I am now in love with my locks and not afraid of showing off. She knows locks and does it well. To me she is the best in ottawa for dreadlocks.

I started my loc journey on my own after relocating from Montreal to Ottawa and was in search of a knowledgeable loctician to help me maintain them. I came across Char’s website and contacted her. Not only was she able to fit me into her schedule last minute but she was so welcoming and had this calming /personable nature to her that made me feel so comfortable. It was more than a hair service with Char, she also educated me on how to care for my locs as well. My retwist was done beautifully. Thank you Char, for a wonderful experience!

Char is so sweet. She interlocked my 4yr old daughter’s locs in record time and was very patient when my daughter was fussy during the appt. Thankyou for the excellent service !!

Char is the best loctician I know for average sized locs. I always feel comfortable when she maintains my hair and she treats my hair with care. She adjusts to my needs when I find the locs are too tight without showing frustration and I really appreciate that. She’s very professional and she’s quick, even with my thick 4C head of hair.If you’re looking for someone to maintain your locs right, she’s the one! I’ve been seeing her for three years now and I’m super happy with the results every time..

Visiting from Toronto and Char came highly recommended. She was fast, gentle and a great conversationalist! My locs have never looked so good and my mind so stimulated! Wish I lived closer but will use her service again when in Ottawa. Thanks Char!
