Food is amazing and so full of flavour. I got the Carmalized Goat Cheese ravioli and is the best pasta I've ever had. Service is also great. Even found a new favourite wine.

I liked the service and the atmosphere! But I expected more from the food, not very tasty pasta with seafood and there was almost no seafood, there were empty shells and some fish, for such a price they could have put more fish and shrimp. The aperol spritz cocktail was lovely and delicious!

Avenue Restaurant and Bar
Party of three for dinner, decided to have the 4 course tasting menu. Food is good and well prepared. However, I would not recommend the tasting menu, as the portions are not suitable in size for three people (especially for the upgrade to the Wellington). Unfortunately left the restaurant hungry (3 bites of wellington per guest) and so had to seek out further dinner.

I was in Regina for work and wanted to treat myself to a nice dinner. Saw the reviews of Avenue and went there for dinner. First time trying beef wellington, and overall the meal was good. Super tender, and the wrapped pastry was delicious; however the beef was not quite beefy." I had several cocktails recommended by the bartender

Second time visiting this must try restaurant. The beef Wellington. Is their crown jewel and was delicious. I ordered medium rare but it came medium. Overdone, still delicious but not perfect The sides (potatoes and veggies) were perfectly prepared. The appetizers were not great. Tempura shrimp was not true tempura, just battered with no tempura. The steak tartare was a bit of a let down. It was a bit too sweet, and had a sweet relish flavour to it. I would go back for a special event but would pass on the appetizers.

Reading the mostly positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. Have to say, I'm quite underwhelmed. The 5 course tasting menu with beef wellington was rather filling, filling to the point I could not finish the servings, shame, as I detest wasting food. By the time they served the main course I could hardly have another bite. I've been to multiple tastings before and have never had this issue. Ideally, the portions should be adequate with bounty of flavours, sadly the portions were massive with average flavours. The appetizers were alright. I wasn't wowed by any of the 3 courses; the beef wellington was good if not great, the stuffing needed some refinement and the veggies on the side were just...cooked.The let down was the dessert, just a part of it I'd say. The creme caramel was delicious but the strawberries were soaking in syrup that had a gamey texture.On hindsight, I feel I could have saved some dough and gone to other cheaper better tasting restaurants.

Went for a business dinner and we didn't try anything that wasn't good here. The drinks are also very nicely made. Beef wellington is definitely their speciality.

Avenue Restaurant and Bar
Amazing restaurant located downtown Regina. The staff was amazing, and the food was too die for. I had the pork belly cut starters. The pork was a little tougher than it could've been, but the flavours more than made up for it. It was followed by the smoked mushrooms which were like eating a piece of heaven. This plate will warm up your soul in those cold fall evenings. Andrew at the bar was very friendly, and could mix a great cocktail too.
