Lovely stay in early September with great weather and the magic of the bay was truly enhanced by our visit to The Mermaid! She is both charming and efficient and the deck and her views are stellar! We are already planning for a return visit! Can't wait!

The Mermaid Cottage in Cowichan Bay
Charming! I rented the cottage with a friend for an extended weekend and loved it. The view was lovely to wake up to and we enjoyed hanging out on the large deck. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped and we had more than everything we needed. There was even a popcorn maker and popcorn. the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels, extra blankets, and everything else. The nautically-based décor is tasteful and instantly gave me that I'm-on-vacation feeling. The location is excellent with restaurants, parks, and shops in easy walking distance. We liked it so much, we booked our next trip before we even left!

The Mermaid Cottage in Cowichan Bay
Quaint 2 bedroom and loft cottage, with a beautiful view overlooking the water on Cowichan Bay. The property is very clean and updated throughout with plenty of seating and also comfy beds and bedding. A short walk down the hill brings you to the village with numerous places to eat, interesting shops to enjoy and a gallery to browse in. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking meals as we prefer to do. Whale watching tours and kayak rentals are available in the village. Would highly recommend this property.

Just returned from a 3 day stay at The Mermaid Cottage. Beautiful, well kept accommodations with a fantastic harbour view. All the amenities you would want to be very comfortable. Enjoyed a few drinks on the deck and can't wait to return. Wonderful place.

The Mermaid Cottage in Cowichan Bay
My wife and I spent four fantastic days at this cottage. We enjoyed eating on the deck right over the water with views of playing seals and a variety of waterfowl. The cottage has everything from comfortable furniture and outstanding decor to a fully equipped kitchen. Would recommend to anyone that needs a relaxing break in their life.
