If I could give zero stars, they declined my ODSP coverage for wisdom teeth extraction. Indirectly refusing to give me service due to my disability. They told me to go find an oral surgeon myself and DID NOT GIVE ME A REFERRAL. Very rude staff and very unprofessional dentists working at this location. Further more I am still waiting for them to email me a copy of my X-ray examination however they have failed to communicate any details so far.They also are declined as a reference due to a falling out" with Waterloo Oral Surgery. Absolutely unprofessional!Do NOT go to this dentist. Period. They have no clue how to process government coverage. They extracted my tooth and failed to write any prescription for the pain that followed after the procedure

I hate the dentist. I have insane fear and anxiety. Dr. V is fantastic. He made me feel so calm and made my experience pain-free. I highly recommend this office for exceptional dental care.

I called the emergency line when I broke a tooth. I had an appointment with Dr. Vyas in the morning and my tooth was fixed the next day. I am very anxious when it comes to going to the dentist. But the entire staff was so amazing. The dental assistant was kind and comforting. Dr. Vyas made sure I knew what was happening and made me feel calm throughout the procedure. They asked questions to find out where my anxiety stemmed from and then treated me with care and humour. I never thought I’d give a dentist 5 stars but if there were more stars to give I would!!!

I had problems and was in a lot of pain caused by one tooth. Dawson dental took me in right away and took care of the problem immediately! They are wonderful and I am very grateful and appreciate them very much!

Dawson Dental in Waterloo is simply wonderful! I’m a super nervous patient and Dr. Vyas and the woman assisting him were incredibly kind and made me feel at ease the entire time. The reception staff is patient and welcoming as well. I have nothing but good things to say about them!

Best dentist I've ever been to. Everyone is super accommodating and friendly. Easy to make appointments, and the service is unmatched. I highly recommend the dental hygienist Farishta at the Northfield Waterloo location, she is great! Being allergic to mint, a trip to the dentist can be stressful. She makes sure the environment is safe and comfortable for me, constantly making sure everything is good on my end. She is super knowledgeable as well, each visit I learn something new to better my dental health. I will keep coming back even if I move out of town!

I have to say, I never in my life expected to have such a wonderful experience at the dentist. This is coming from someone with a life-long actual phobia of dentistry and had not been to a dentist for over 20 years! The terror I felt was very real, going in... but let me tell you, the instant I walked in and experienced the gentleness and kindness of this team, I was relaxed and calm. I was taken care of by three members of the team, Dr. Shukla included, and all of them were just so friendly and understanding of my fears. They did everything and anything they could to make my visit as easy and fearless as possible. I'm telling you when I left that office, I was like a new woman because I don't think I'll really have the same fears again of going to the dentist, now that I'm privileged to be a patient at such an amazing, caring establishment. Would highly recommend - most definitely. Thank you so much for all that you do.

As someone with severe anxiety with the dentist I really struggle with even just making an appointment. They were very patient and took the time to figure out what I needed from them. Melissa has a lot of experience with people who have anxiety with the dentist and it really showed in her care with me. She made me feel so comfortable and all the things that usually spike my anxiety was a lot easier to handle. I highly recommend seeing her if you struggle with anxiety for any step of going to the dentist. Just tell them what you need when making the appointment and they should be able to accommodate

I can't thank the team at Dawson Dental enough! I had the worst tooth pain the night of December 22. My filling was creating a world of pressure on the nerves in my molar. I couldn't go a minute without cold water in my mouth. I didn't sleep at all and we were hit with a snowstorm. Most offices closed due to the weather and my regular dentist would only provide a prescription to get me to the new year. I called Dawson and in 3 hours I was sitting in the chair crying where he immediately began freezing. They were speedy and took great care to do the whole root canal procedure so I could function over the holidays for my children.It's the next day and I only have slight discomfort now unlike when I had the original filling done. My family will be changing to Dawson Dental where the extra distance and maybe increase price is worth every penny. Thank you so much Dr Vyas! People have no idea how important your job is until they are in am emergency situation.

This review is absolutely not reflective of the location at all, in fact I’ve been dealing with this location since 2019 and have experienced nothing but STELLAR service and I’ll continue to go here. However, please do not deal with Dr. Shazia Gul - in the very few minutes I dealt with her, I was treated less than a person; with no care or consideration. The way I was treated by here has had a lingering effect on me for the rest of the day. I hope the practice takes the time to reassess her role. Thank you to the rest of the staff here at this location!
