Vinemount Meadows Sanctuary
We come here once in awhile for a quiet walk along part of the Defasco trail. Usually we spot a bird of some sort,, this time a hawk in the distance and a racoon by a stream. However it seems some pipe or cable was being laid very near and under the walking path so it was not as smooth a path as normal.....still a peaceful walk though.

Vinemount Meadows Sanctuary
The sign said boardwalk closed at 5th road .I walked 20 minute .part was over the first boardwalk (looks new). Then found it was the second board walk that is kind of flagged off and Dammaged.What's taking so long to have this repaired?

Vinemount Meadows Sanctuary
So many snakes! And an orb weaver spider, and a praying mantis. Simple walk turned into many animal sightings.

Great mixture of trees and meadow. Good place to see Tree Swallows.
