Had my daughters birthday party there. Great times had by all. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.

It’s been 40 years since I swam at Plant Bath, and everything has changed! Large pool plus wading pool and hot tub. Good change-rooms, with a few changing cubicles, two accessible shower stalls, lots of hair-dryers and lockers (some can take your own lock; others cost a quarter). Lane swim, senior rate, cost only $3.75 - very good deal. You can reserve a spot online in advance. On a rainy July Monday, 11:30-1:00 pm time slot, there were three or four swimmers per lane.

I can confirm that this is indeed a recreation center. However, it is mostly used by senior citizen humans and middle-aged humans. (The middle-aged ones seem to have an interest in various styles of sword fighting.)I have seen zero plants having their recreation. I find this disappointing when you consider how important recreation must be for plants.

Had a blast during the public swim. They opened the diving board for the kids. My 6 y/o had a blast. Then the opened the rope swing and that was amazing. My 3y/o loved the hot tub. Ha!

Great local pool for families whose kids have outgrown Dovercourt. Nice facility. We particularly appreciate the comfy seating area with glass overlooking the pool. Great for keeping tabs on each other if some are swimming and others are waiting. Bring your own drinks and snacks, though. I don't recall seeing any facilities for that stuff. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Warm water for morning lap swims makes that whole experience up early on a cold winter's morning thing comfortable. I think they adjust the pool temperature seasonally, and the kiddie area is warmer than the nice, cool main pool in summer. The pool deck has a glass wall to the outside garden/playground behind the building, so the swimming area is suffused with natural light. I find that a huge pick me up in winter months. Amply sized hot tub is never a disappointment (unlike Dovercourt where theirs often is not going for whatever reason). Best value for public swimming. $9 for our family of 3 to swim for up to 3 hours and get hot showers afterwards. Can't beat that for cheap entertainment.

Great place. Very friendly, accommodating and helpful staff. The entire centre (including women's changeroom and bathroom) are clean and well maintained.

Good swimming pool. However, kids should not be allowed in the main pool as we were ordered out because of emergencies

Great pool for the kiddos. Nice spacious family change room. Two caveats; the pool is always a bit chilly and the family change room often has “non-family” users, such as people who do not have children with them. These users could easily use the gender specific change rooms leaving lockers available in the family change room free for families.
