I was so hungry this was all I could eat. The food always changing. I don’t know who is making the food but it’s so inconsistent. The bleaching lady has poor customer service skills. I was in a rush and wanted some good food. Ugh not coming back.

We literally just ordered food from your restaurant located at Queen & Chingquousy. The food arrived cold via UBER. The chicken seemed to be old and coated in BBQ sauce, along with the rice, corn and cold slaw. I mean, if you're not passionate about serving customers for what they pay, you shouldn't take there money, and consider closing your doors. Shame.

A woman with ombre braids took my order. I asked how many pieces of fried chicken were in the standard value order(3). Her responses were slow and she was not fully present and I felt as if she was almost annoyed that I was the next person in line but she answered the questions. The man before me seemed to be having problems with his order and throughout my duration in line which was approximately 3 mins, I could tell there was a dismissive tone from the cashier and she was kind of toying with him with his order in a sluggish way. When I approached the counter she was smirking in this strange way observing me up and down and plainly it was uncomfortable and I could sense the judgment in my relaxed clothing. I opened my meal when I got home and had two small pieces of fried chicken accompanying my rice and peas. I've had poor customer service before here but I let it slide because I enjoy the food, but i felt i needed to mention this instance.

I'm fighting with Uber now to get some compensation. I ordered a 2 for 1, jerk chicken meal, added on a small red peas soup, a patty and a kola champagne. The soda was the only good thing and I'm not exaggerating!!The red peas soup... I think they put beef and some peas in the chicken stock and sent it over, it wasn't red pea soup! Who's cooking over there.Never mind the colorless rice n peas, there was a hair in my son's food!They need some assistance over there for sure. Never again.

The guy probably the owner that works there seems like he doesn’t want to be there seems miserable, 23° outside today probably around 35° inside the restaurant uncomfortable environment. Now to the food the jerk or bbq pork I’m not sure what he said, wasn’t bad at all the oxtail 1 out 5 stars, the cole saw was really bad It was probably a 20 min drive from the restaurant to my house and it already smelled and tasted spoiled not to say he has it sitting on a chair beside the cash register that should’ve been a red flag for me especially with the temperature inside that restaurant don’t bother going here bad atmosphere and service and not well maintained food.The picture is the coleslaw I threw it in the garbage right away

Was looking forward to eating some SunRise Caribbean food. I had good experiences in Burlington. As soon as I walked in something seemed off. I decided to use the washroom before ordering. I pushed past a no frills cart in the washroom. Also there was 2 fridge motors in the corner. The soap dispenser on the counter had no pump and as I was going to pour some out I see a dutty cockroach floating around. I walked out and will never be back to this location. They should be shut down permanently.

This place is a scam, I ordered 2 x 1 on uber eats. I understand the portions are small to be able to generate money, but they sent me only one and it's small. In addition, I specifically did not ask for gravy in the rice because it was spicy, if I could give it less stars I would. Also the phone is out of service. and the number they have on the website is the number of a lady. very bad.

Honestly, where is the zero star rating? I will never support another sunrise again not only has the food declined in quality, but the service is now non-existent to make it even worse. You're overpriced for the portions you serve and I can tell that the owners do not care about the quality of experience in your restaurants

I write this review with hopes that this business is able recognize they need to improve their management/professionalism. I was surprised that a franchise would deliver such poor customer service and employee training. My family and I spent almost half an hour waiting for food even though the food was already prepared and there was no other customers in the restaurant .While ordering the person in charge made an unnecessary comment/reaction on the name I used to refer to one of their menu items because it was not Jamaican culture meanwhile she understood what I meant. “Bake or fried dumplin’”. The person in charge notified us that their staff is new. Despite their staff being new, after ringing through our order the new employee failed to wash their hands after handling the till. The new employee was left unattended several times while it was obvious they required guidance. When we received our food it was cold. And our drinks were warm. They have a fridge fully stocked with drinks however it is not working to cool, it’s just for display. With no accommodation of ice. Consider you hard earned money before visiting this place.This business doesn’t have courtesy for their customers. They take up your money, then your time and leave you with no clean place to sit and eat.
