I recently had Nick and his crew at my house to take down a maple tree that was in very rough shape and very close to the house. His crew came and knew exactly how to bring the tree down quickly and safely. Great fast fair priced service. His staff were all great to deal with. I will recommend Nick and his crew to everyone I know.

Nick and his team recently did a tremendous job for us. All through the process they were communicative & flexible. The team arrived bright and early, were fun and truly hardworking. All through the process (tree / property clean up) they made great suggestions on branches to keep / remove and consulted us along the way. The Northside team was the best arborist experience we have ever had. We absolutely will hire them again.

A very old and very large oak tree partially fell close to my house at 5 in the morning. I called Nick at 6am, he was here at 7am to survey it and back with a team at 930am. There was a tornado warning for later that day so they worked quickly for hours to make it safe before the storm and then had to return a few more times to finish the job. I also wanted to salvage and mill part of it which required a third party contractor and Nick was flexible and obliging to work around scheduling for that. I also wanted a few loads of the wood chips for a gardening project and he and his guys actually helped up move them into place. I also need the stump cut down a bit differently for decorative reasons - they asked me how exactly I wanted it and even cut it into a few slices for later use with out me asking.I definitely was a “high maintenance” customer for this project and they happily obliged me with each request. Every single guy on the team is ridiculously nice and they left the site in broom swept condition and even threw some grass seed down before they left. Nick kept me updated through every step of this huge job and the price was reasonable especially considering the timing and level of danger for parts of the cut. I cannot speak highly enough of this team and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Nick and his crew did an awesome job removing 8 dead and dangerous trees for me. They are prompt, professional, courteous and hardworking. Cleanup was great leaving the area spotless. Excellent customer service. They get 5 stars and my recommendation.

We had a dead ash tree in a tricky location that needed to come down. Had a few arborists come by for estimates and Nick appeared to be the most knowledgeable and reasonably priced by far! The day of the job, his crew were all friendly and did a great job! Can’t forget to mention, their clean-up… wow! Very impressed!

From my first call to Northside for an estimate, the response was prompt and professional. I should of called Northside a month earlier instead of waiting for other companies to respond to my phone calls and emails. Within 24 hours of a site visit and estimate, Nick and his crew were on the job. I was very impressed how quickly a 125’ White Pine was cut down safely and efficiently. What a fantastic experience. First off, they arrived on time at 7:30am. There were 5 guys, which was great. One person watched for safety the entire time. They were not just 5 guys with chain saws. They knew of trees, insects, fungus, and how they all communicate, and how diseases can spread through the root systems. They cleaned up to perfection and stacked all the cut wood. We highly recommend Northside Tree Experts. Respect for the property, great communications between us and them, and positive energy between all of them throughout the job.

10/10 best tree service we have had on our property, and we have had many. They came and took the tree down in 3 hours and had the brush taken away and the remaining logs stacked out of the way and cut to size. Will be hiring them again

Nick and the crew were very professional and polite. We were very pleased with all our communications from coming out for the quote to setting the date to get the job done. On the day of the job they arrived on time, got the job done quickly and efficiently and cleaned up. We were so impressed and will definitely use them again and highly recommend.

I'm a typical do-it-yourself-er" but I know my limitations. We had a few very tricky trees on a steep slope that were way too close to our boathouse for peace of mind. My wife found Northside Tree Experts on one of the lake's Facebook groups so we gave them a call. Nick got back to us immediately and came by to look at the job the next day.
