I go here often and I noticed the majority (not all) of the employees here are grumpy. I've witnessed new employees go from being genuinely nice to blah, too.

My first visit was with treatment of total disrespect. He threatened not to keep his exchange policy because the pawn shop sells garbage. Had to return 4 controllers in one afternoon. Will never enter his store again. Winnipeg is not big enough business wise to treat customers like this.

Friendly service and knowledgeable staff! Only down side is the same for all pawn shops. They wanna make a buck. I guess getting bent over for 20% worth of a thousand dollars of power tool is palatable if the person you deal with treats you like a human. Which they did. I will do more business with them in the future.

No refund policy forced you to exchange. Bought electronic stuff bring it to home stopped working after a day use. Then went back to them they said they can't refund it you can either exchange it or get store credit. Then exchange with another item didn't work with my tv. Came back to them. Explain the situation then they said it is final sale you can't exchange nor get store credit. Only one time exchange only if not worked they can't help. lost of money.

The negotiation was swift, the instrument was meticulously packaged - customer service and replies by Paulo where quick and he was very helpful -due to current events the shipping from Canada to S Florida took almost a month. But City Pawn is a store that does business right! Instrument is flawless and as described price including shipping was very fair. 10 STARS!

Miles you added all your facebook info into my phone when it was pawned. you have a few new friend requests and a few other notifications.i didn’t realize that the people who work here use the products when they are pawned… so miles change your phone number off of your facebook because i can get into it and change all of your settings if you want !!!the phone was powered OFF !!and logged out of everything!!! so how can i be hacked while MY phone was POWERED OFF during the time there!!nice try city pawn !!! Miles used my phone while it was there .. i will bring in the bill of that month to show data and phone calls were made while “locked in storage” at your location!!
