I honestly can't say enough good things about Chrissy and her team. I bought my first home, purchased a few initial pieces and then hit a wall as to how to pull them together into something aesthetically cohesive. Chrissy took great care to distill and understand my stylistic preferences and adopt and build upon my vision. She honoured the pieces I had already brought in and incorporated them seamlessly into her design. Her choice of furnishings and decorative details were both opulent and somehow understated and entirely complementary to the existing pieces. It's not just her immense talent that impressed me, as I'm sure there are many competent designers in the field. Rather, it was was her warmth, care and attention to detail that were remarkable. I appreciated how transparent she was with costs and mindful of my budget. She presented multiple options with quotes and recommendations, which enabled me to understand the spend on the project along every step. What I initially envisioned as a daunting endeavour turned out to be very enjoyable, and it was because Chrissy facilitated a process where every decision was a fully informed one. Mine was definitely one of the smaller projects on her plate, but at every turn I felt like a priority. If you want to work with a designer who will make your home look both welcoming and inviting but also like it belongs in a magazine spread, and who will be attentive and listen and work with you as a partner, then I whole-heartedly recommend Chrissy ad the CHCC team.

Working with Chrissy of Curated Home was the absolute BEST experience. I cannot say enough good about her, her company, and her team (shoutout to Caroline). As a person, Chrissy is solid gold. You don’t meet too many like her in life and after our design journey I count myself lucky in calling her a friend as well. Now for the design…my house should be in a magazine, no kidding. I still pinch myself everyday waking up here. Chrissy is impeccable. She helped me bring my vision to reality and we had the most fun doing it. Her style is timeless, bold, refined, and sexy. She is a master of her trade. I found her knowledge of design all-encompassing with an ability to create exquisite juxtapositions. Chrissy really helped me bring my dream vision to life. Of course there were little bumps along the way as supply chains have been very slow but she always had a positive solution and I couldn’t be happier with my home. The process from beginning to end was done with ease and support. Everyone loves my updated home.

I met Chrissy a few years ago and was in awe of her eye for beautiful things. It took me some time to get the courage to ask for her help in redesigning my condo. With her right hand associate Ryan, the two took my home from an uninspiring space to one of a sanctuary. I definitely have what some refer to as champagne taste haha (but don’t we all) and both Chrissy and Ryan were able to find me pieces that were stunning, timeless and within my budget. They always reminded me where I was within my budget and made suggestions as where the most value was in the pieces they recommended, and where to not invest my dollars into things that had no return in investment if I ever chose to sell. I have never been able to articulate my exact design taste, and to be able to have two incredible humans bring my vision to life with just a few pictures and a few genuine one on one meetings, I now have a space That reflects who I am. We used Curated Home by Chrissy and Co to renovate our yaletown condo. The team members were knowledgeable, professional, punctual, polite, reliable and especially patient with our many questions and occasional changes in plans. Their design and color combinations are amazing! Along with significant help picking our furnishings. We are very happy with the final result and would definitely use them again for our next home !

Chrissy and her team are so nice to deal with , super respectful, collaborative and always trying to give their clients an elevated experience and product in a timely manor. I discovered Curated Home by walking past the storefront, and after looking at their projects online, fell in love with their beautiful and elegant design.My husband and I rarely agreed on the style of and furniture for our home, but through working with Chrissy we found that there was much we did agree on. During the initial meetings she truly listened to our needs, was curious, asking questions to help draw out our wants and showed so much consideration in bringing the two together.Caroline has been very instrumental in helping to bring the final project together. She answered all my endless questions and helped coordinate the very many details required with such calmness and grace that I knew we were in good hands. Her stylish eye for bringing fabrics together and layering elevated and transformed the space into a home. And if that is not enough, she also knows plant and garden design, bringing life to the final design.I truly feel that the level of attention and thoughtfulness both these wonderful women gave is the same as if it were their own home.Our project consisted of minor renovations and a full furniture package, with the result being a gorgeous and distinct home that is a pure reflection of us and how we live. What was once a boring condominium has been transformed into a haven filled with colour, comfort, and stylish details.Thank you Chrissy and Caroline, I love my home.

PLEASE! read before retaining or working with Chrissy!I recently purchased my first home and was extremely excited to turn it into my dream home. I began my search for an interior designer to make my dream come to life. I stumbled upon Chrissy's Instagram page and liked her style and portfolio, which led me to reach out to her. Initially I was so excited about working with Chrissy, I never imagined in a million years I would be leaving a review forewarning others from working with Chrissy and/or CHCC.I put my full faith, trust, and confidence in Chrissy and after over a year of working with her, I learned she took advantage of me in such an outrageous and unscrupulous manner that I couldn't initially wrap my mind around it. Turns out Chrissy charged me significant mark ups on actual cost of furniture and building materials. Our contract stated I was to receive her “designer discounts” and “VIP pricing”, which made abundant sense to me since I paid Chrissy a stipulated sum to compensate her for design services in addition to, what I was told would be, the supplier cost for all furniture and interior design materials, less discounts about which Chrissy was so proud to tell me. An example of this was marble slabs, which I learned came with an actual supplier cost of $2,000 per slab. Chrissy charged me around $12,000 per slab.When furniture and building materials were delivered to my home I hoped they would at least be of exceedingly high quality and fit for their intended purpose. Many items delivered to my home was of extremely poor quality, workmanship, and most items didn't fit in the spaces specified. One example being a bathroom vanity that wouldn't allow the door to close, another was a kitchen banquette that stuck out beyond one of the walls by more than 3 inches. In one example lucite handles were ordered that and massive mark-ups charged for that I came to find out were ordered from Etsy. The majority of the light fixtures specified for my home came from a company from which CHCC holds distribution rights. This resulted in Chrissy relying heavily on a single lighting supplier, resulting in further exorbitant markups. Never did I agree to pay Chrissy or CHCC markups for items they sourced on my behalf. Consistently throughout the project Chrissy confirmed for me that I was getting “great deals” and was given “all of her trade discounts''. This was far from the truth.Chrissy brands herself as an interior designer when my experiences exposed her as a decorator. I had to learn the difference between these designations the hard way. There was a significant amount of materials specified that in the end had to be removed because they failed to meet functional requirements, and in the worst cases, did not meet building code or applicable regulations.Walking through the house, it became clear Chrissy attempted to create isolated rooms to be photographed, not for my benefit but to bolster her portfolio. Chrissy would often tell me about how she thought the house would be featured in a design magazine and I quickly learned she seems to have designed the house for her own benefit, rather than my best interest and my design wishes.It has been a categorical disaster and heartbreaking journey, one I thought I would never experience and never wish for anyone else to experience..when you search for CHCC on the internet you will note 5-star reviews and a beautiful website, something my experience showed me is carefully orchestrated. If you read my review and are still considering working with Chrissy or CHCC, I urge you to do your due diligence and talk to others in the Vancouver interior design industry before taking the leap. I hope in sharing my experience that Chrissy will never again be able to harm someone financially and emotionally the way she harmed me.

Curated Home By Chrissy is the best! Her style and eye for decor is classic, timeless! She knew within minutes exactly what I wanted! Her eye for timeless decor is what drew me to her services, she was pleasant, beautiful warm and charming to work with, i now consider her a friend! She really helped me feel confident in the process! She is a complete professional and so sweet! I still reach out 7 years later to ask questions and she’s always willing to help out! I recently needed to touch up my door and asked her suggestion and she replied immediately! I don’t know many others that would do the same! She is so talented! I highly recommend this gem and her company, my home is timeless and classic and I still love it 7years later! Her taste is exquisite!!! You won’t be disappointed!
