PC Service Depot

I brought my MacBook Pro into this guy as it wouldn’t turn on. I left it with him for a diagnosis and he called me later saying it would be in excess of $700 to repair it as he took it apart and all the interior components were basically fried. I told him at that rate I would prefer to just buy a new one probably and I went to collect it. After some time I reconsidered and thought I may as well fix it as it had files etc. I would prefer to not lose. Fortunately this guy was closed when I went to drop it by so I brought it to Blue Water Tek on Exmouth so he could quote the repair. In about 2 minutes the Blue Water Tek owner was able to determine it was in fact my power adapter that needed to be replaced and that there wasn’t anything wrong with the computer itself whatsoever. Just a dead battery. I will have a few poor sleeps worrying about how many people in the Sarnia community that have been taken advantage of by this fella.

Brought my iPad to the store with a broken screen left there all day was charged 68 bucks for diagnostic (literally it runs fine just broken screen) got no messages from them decided to go get the tablet back and hopefully our money since I figured nothing was done and low and behold well we diagnosed it so no 68 bucks back but here’s your tablet. If you want fair service and people not just in for the money go somewhere else

Hubert Wu (Manager) was asked to swap original usable parts into new pc. when service was complete, he stated original motherboard was fried" and unusable. So he swapped for a lesser quality motherboard (unknown at the time) and charged for it as well. computer was used for close to a year until I noticed it was a different motherboard when I decided to upgrade to a Bluetooth headset. building the original computer I knew there was a Bluetooth chip integrated into original motherboard. when confronted I asked if I could receive original motherboard or motherboard of equal value in exchange for a parts computer (containing a equal quality motherboard to one charged for) and or the motherboard he supplied

My experienced with Herbert Wu, manager of PC Service Depot is that he's a very sneaky business man. He took advantage of an 86 year old woman by giving me a price of $145.00 to replace the screen on my iPad and then sneaking in a diagnostic charge, calling it a deposit". I had agreed to the $145.00 fee to replace the screen and then he said "I'll need a $40.00 deposit". Which I understood was going towards the $145.00. He never once used the words

I have purchased 2 used computers and 1 new stand alone and have had repair work done. Always very happy with the service & results.

Same as everyone else. Brought my phone in to be repaired with all parts needed so I would only pay the service fee. After about a week I got a call saying none of my parts were compatible (I did the research before buying, I know I bought the right OEM parts, they told me I didn't buy both parts for the touch screenYet I have both parts in my hands right now returned from them). I picked up my phone and it clearly had not been touched, literally went right into storage. He literally waited for me to leave the store to just stick everything I brought in in a bag and call me a week later to say nothing works and held need at least 250 to fix it. An S6? Brand new is barely worth that! He knew when I dropped it off he couldn't or wouldn't fix it but decided to steal my deposit regardless. First time I went in one door window was smashed, second time both door windows and display cabinets were smashed and glass was everywhere. I didnt say anything as it was awkward but they have clearly angered alot of people. I'm not saying they deserve the hostility but maybe it wouldn't be so bad If they didn't flat put steal from people. Cell city in the mall is terrible too. Sarnia needs a cell phone devoted company, they would make a ton. Sorry PC Depot but did you actually think after your lies and nonsense I would leave you a good review. Get real, and stop ripping people off or you will wind up in court losing your business because no one will support you anymore. Good luck, I think you'll really need it going forward. Had a terrible experience when I got my 2011 MacBook Pro repaired".First the good

Owner has the worst people skills I’ve ever seen . There was a charger out of box used and he would t even let me check to make sure it worked before plugging in . He basically said if I don’t have money come back when I do . When I had money I think there was a language barrier there. I don’t recommend this place at all really rude guy .
