Just picked up some sod from Vanderwoude and was really impressed. Sod was in great condition and the people there are great. Used a forklift to put an arms throw from my car so easy loading. Definitely a good experience.

I cant say enough about this wonderful family run business. They are integral, helpful, knowledgeable and such a pleasure to deal with. I've bought both seed and sod from them over the years and both are always excellent.

First time ordering and installing sod by myself and I have to say now I have the best grass in my neighbourhood. Ordered 62 rolls and they were delivered 7am next day. Premium Kentucky blue grass, and fresh cut. I'm glad I didn't go with one of those Facebook sellers.

WOW. I've experienced bad service but this was a whole other level. When one of the owners, Ed Vanderwoude calls and chastises me using vulgar language because he wasn't happy with a make good offer from his brother Albert, well that is atrocious. Anyone who treats a customer like this must be a terrible human being.If you want to know, the delivery came 3 hours late, 11:30am was supposed to arrive by 9/930, 3 rolls with holes, it happens but still. Cost me $120 for the crew to just stand around waiting. Lost my bin which was scheduled for pick up at noon. So I called and expressed my disappointment.Albert asked what he could do, I asked if someone would come and pick up the cuts that I wasn't able to dispose of, it would be enough to make it right. Fair request I thought. I didn't ask for money or anything crazy just help with the disposal because I wasn't able due to their late delivery.Apparently Ed thought it was outrageous.
