Creative Kids Place - Mississauga, Oakville, Milton

Used it for one week of summer camp and won’t go back. The counsellors are aloof and not properly trained: no one asked my husband for ID when he picked up our child and the list of campers names was right there for any stranger to see. When our child was sick one day, no one followed up on attendance which is surprising. No one reminded he younger kids to put on sun screen etc. The camp was not as structured as others and some of the counsellors didn’t try very much to make it a fun environment. Finally the Facility is different than pictured; maybe other locations are better but the one near us is a facility rental anyone can access. It’s too bad the owner isn’t more involved because the camps curriculum as a concept are all good ideas, but failing on execution.

My 2 children (6&9) have been attending the Streetsville location for the past few summers. Every year the programs are better than the year before. Angela the Owner hires competent and caring staff who guide the children through activities such as sewing, ceramic painting, various crafts and coding courses. The only issues I noticed were the unrealistic demands parents making of the staff to cater to their child on several occasions. My children enjoy their time there and I will continue to enrol them in this camp without hesitation.

My two kids age 5 and 9 at the time joined the after school program. They loved the variety of programs offered. They look forward to baking days where they ate the dessert they made from scratch for a treat every Friday. They also enjoyed yoga, mad science, painting and ceramics ..the staff are wonderful (hired specifically for specialised program). Angela is the best, deeply cares about the children and knows how to reach all out to them by designing the curriculums catering to the kids’ interest without reservations. My daughter was so very sad and begged us to keep her there when the school year was over. They made friends. What fond memories!! Thank you so much for looking after my children opening their eyes to different areas watering these little spouts and help them grow. We appreciate the love you provided. Best program in town for the value!

*** PUBLIC WARNING***I recently signed up my daughter for camp at their milton location. My developmentally delayed daughter was publicly humiliated by another mother in their location. It was so bad my child would not attend there the next day... When I spoke to the owner she said “it wasn’t her problem and There isn’t anything she could do”. How about hire someone who is equipped to deal with deescalations so no other child has to be subjected to what my daughter endured while in their care! This is a warning to all parents enrol your children with extreme caution as they may be traumatized by psychotic mothers and the owner and her employees will do nothing but watch! There are some fantastic camps out there THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM!!!

My son joined the summer camp there for a couple weeks after SK. The program is great with exciting field trips and nice staff. I think it suits better for older kids as there is no group or separation by ages. One thing I did not quite like was that the kids had easy access to iPad. Almost everyday when I picked up my son, he was playing or watching someone playing iPad. He was 4.5 years old and I did not allow any iPad time for him at home yet. After the summer camp, he told me so much about different iPad games. He even watched ghostbuster with someone there and started to have nightmare. He was so scared to sleep by himself after that. I have no idea what else he watched with the older kids which are not appropriate for his age. I would give a higher rating for older kids but will not recommended it for JK or SK kids. I hope the staff there could pay more attention to what the kids are doing with iPad. There are a lot to do on the internet.

Amazing camp, fantastic staff and program. Perfect for kids development.My 2 kids 10yo and 5yo loved everything, programs indoor and outdoor trips, everyday was a different story to tell and very excited, either on robotics when they built a robot or when was together to the instructors.My kids enjoyed a lot this camp and they can't wait for next year, and the owner Angela, i just can thank for this great camp and the opportunity for her kindness to my family. I Truly recommend this camp and my kids will join it again next year. I loved to see the happiness on their faces and waiting for the weekend to pass just to see some of the staff again.Again, Great camp, staff and management.

PUBLIC WARNING!!!!!!Very unsafe a dangerous place! Specifically, Milton location.No security, no proper supervision, bullying, physical injuries that the staff ignores and covers up.Horrible 6 days at the camp. Had to urgently look for another camp with safe and kid friendly environment.At this camp, my son was hurt, bullied and humiliated by another kids, the staff just pretended to close their eyes (basically saying that kids are kids and they are supposed to play like that). My son ended up in emergency room...Stay away from that place.

This was our first year at summer camp, my son is 5. First, the registration process was simple, Angela opened up a waitlist for sign-up, then when the location was confirmed, I was sent a link to confirm placement. Angela was very accommodating and prompt with responses and changes in my son's programming.Also, every week we had an email about the upcoming field trips and important camp information.The counselors were very nice and responsive. The field trips were successful, he had a great time! He made some good friends at camp and enjoyed himself!We will sign up both kids sor specific programming next year as well!

I used Creative Kids for both after school and camps. I had both a 9yr old and a 13 yr old and they loved it. Lots of craft, sewing and games, plus weekly field trips for the summer programme. Like all other programmes there are a mix of kids and ages but Angela and her team is able to keep them entertained. I would highly recommend the camps and your kids will love it especially if they are currently in a school age programme.

Just did a kids' party at the place, very nice experience. Very spacey room, so kids can do their craft work while parents socializing easily at the other side of the room. We did polymer clay for girls and boys, the product kids made looks very good with beautiful colors. Both kids and parents had a very nice experience.
