Best pharmacy in Durham Region. I have been a customer at this pharmacy for over 20 years. Their attention to detail and customer relations is surpassed by none. When you walk into a pharmacy and they know you by name, it makes you feel special. This family run business is a must for all your pharmaceutical needs.

I love this place. Everyone is friendly, and helpful. They care about our health. They take the time in getting to know my husband and myself. Everyone knows our names. It's like small town service in an ever-growing town. I would never go anywhere else.

I went to get a covid swab test there. The guy doing it had no care how he did his job. I saw people running out of there in pain. Now I've had this swab test done many times before and it's not comfortable to begin with. When it was my turn, he proceed to just ram the swab up my nostril, and as I pulled away, he proceed to ram it further. The worst part is that my son was next in line and this man told my son that I was a wimp and laughed. I have never written a negative post in my life...but this one needed to be put out there so that people could know. My bad, I should have checked their ratings before I booked the appointment. Irresponsible and unprofessional.

I’ve recently been needing very particular medications that need to be ordered in. They have been amazing and so accommodating to make sure that my medications have been arriving when I need them and helping to deal with my insurance company to make sure they’ve been covered.

Unfriendly staffPoor customer service.First of all one the pharmacists was not wearing a mask he did appear friendlier than others.One of the ladies asked me why I am there, when I told her to get lottery she said she will come to help me. After waiting 8 min ,The other unfriendly lady who was wearing her mask below her nose comes out and asks very loudly what tickets you want. When I told her she again asked me loudly how are you going to pay when I mentioned credit card she said loudly again you can't pay for lottery with a credit card.I left the place without tickets after wasting 10 minutes.Why couldn't the first lady ask me the same question and save my time and why this lady couldn't be less angry and less loud .Also when you are pharmacy people not following the policies of masks how do you expect customers to do that.Not recommended

This pharmacy is like family. Every visit is personally designed to my needs. The staff know me and most regular customers by first name and greet you before you get to the counter. They are more then a pharmacy, they are my favourite community pharmacy.

Got a covid test done here a couple weeks ago. Went in to let them know that I had arrived and I was told to go outside. I waited outside and the pharmacist told me I should be waiting in my car. Neither the pharmacist nor the women who booked my appointment told me this over the phone. I was the last person to get my test because I had to pull up my car despite being the first person there.

Whitby Community Pharmacy is my favourite pharmacy in Durham Region! The staff go above and beyond their daily duties; the pharmacists have hand delivered my medication multiple times while I was sick at home with Covid19. This is NOT a FedEx store, but rather a service they offer. I have watched them serve multiple clients at a time while accepting FedEx packages with a smile. The owners work directly at the store ensuring all clients are served with the utmost respect and due diligence surrounding medication dispensing. No organization for COVID testing, no one knew where to wait and so there was no point of making an appt. The person on the phone told me to “play it by ear.” I asked the pharmacist to change his gloves after he tested 4 different people in a row using the same ones. He argued with me for 5 minutes before asking someone to grab him a pair from the back… said he wasn’t performing surgery so he didn’t see why they needed to be changed. We’re in a pandemic and sick people are breathing on the same hands he uses to stick swabs up your noses
