Watch & Jewelry Repair @ Hudson's Bay

This guy is absolutely awful. Not only did he accuse me of dropping and shaking my watch, I was referred to him after I was trying to return defective merchandise. He was whispering to the other employee, and frankly just rude. Also, under his display case we asked him if one was automatic, because it did not appear to be, but was labelled as such and he told the associate to take it out, because it was fake". Bizarre. Gross. I felt ill after dealing with this psychos dead eyes."

Came to the store at 10:15 today and nobody was there. Came back at 11:45 and still nobody. What a waist of time! If posted hours are from 10:00 - 6:00 why is there nobody at the store? People have more important things to do than to drive to Chinook, find parking, walk through The Bay only to find no-one there. Don't waist time going there. Purchase a watch elsewhere.

Can't handle a battery replacement, needs to send it away. Sad man enforcing his sad policy.

This is a fantastic spot for watch repair and battery replacement. These folks know their stuff and are super friendly.

Edit: dealt with Lyndel regards to the issue and she manged courteously and professionally to my satisfaction. My watch was brought to almost its original form. Thank you.(Took out one star because of what happened)It could have been a negative star if there were. Terrible and under qualified tech! Brought in my wrist watch for a battery replacement and they damaged the watch surface below the hands and the damage is clearly visible. complained about it and all they said was it will need to be shipped out to BC to get repaired and may take over 3 weeks. I was told there is no manger at all because they are outsourced by Hudson's Bay. Now I have a broken watch and have to look for a new one.

So unimpressed. I show up half an hour before closing and the guy at first refuses to change the battery in my watch and then agrees to do so if I come back the next day to pick it up. Fine.I arrive to pick up the watch 1 hour before the listed closing time and another staff member tells me to return as the employee in charge of watches has left an hour before.. are you serious? I sure love driving to a busy mall in rush hour only to find out I have to return when the employee feels like working. Will definitely not use this service again

I showed up well before closing one day probably about 40 to 45 minutes to have a watch battery replacing done. The guy at the desk said that it would not be done until the next day and I would need to come in later on in the day. I show up around 545pm to collect my watch and there is no one at the counter. I'm told by the half an hour for the person to come back to collect my watch.I would never use this company again to do repairs as it is a pure waste of time. The guy at the counter clearly just wants to go home and make his hourly wage and does not care about customer service.
