It's stupid that the visitor info centre on the waterfront is closed DURING THE WEEKEND!Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. I must have seen dozens of people walk up to its closed doors on a Saturday. That's a shame because the people working there seem to be knowledgeable.

Very friendly staff with great suggestions for tourists. I was quick to realize that a few days in Halifax wasn't enough to see and do everything that interested me. They have maps and info on tourism all over N.S.
