White's Fire Smoke & Water Damage Cleaning and Restoration

We are currently going through a flooded kitchen and water damage through to our downstairs ceiling. Tony has been in charge of the team of guys who have helped us and he has made such a stressful situation so much easier on us. He has been incredibly courteous and has answered many questions and even has helped us after hours. He came to our house within hours of our call due to the flooding and got all of the correct information to our insurance company timely so we were approved to start treatment right away. They were able to come out the following day and prevent any further damage. Umon and Jesse came out to do the treatments and apply all the dryers and they were both super kind, courteous and professional.We’re not quite done with our treatment, but we couldn’t be happier with the service we’ve had with Whites. I hope to never have to, but if we did they’d be the first company we would call without question.

We had water damage back in October 2021 which left us with a hole in our ceiling and an unusable bathroom. Between insurance and changes within the company, it took us a while before we were able to move forward. It was well worth the wait allowing us to work with Darryl. He was very helpful in walking us through the process of what to expect with the repairs. He took great care of our property and you can tell he takes pride in his work. Not only is he kind and respectful, but he took the time to talk with our son who is a huge fan of “Darryl the damage guy.” He did an excellent job with our repairs and we would 100% work with him again! Shout out to Morgan who has been helpful throughout this entire process! Thank you!

We had an flooding emergency and frantically called all over Rochester. This company responded immediately and sent two wonderful people our way to help. These guys were so courteous and helpful. None of the other companies we called took time to call us back. This company was so quick on the response and we are so very thankful! As a result of their attention and response, we should have minimal damage. Thank you so much!!!

As homeowners of less than 1 year, we were shocked when our township's sewage system backed into our finished basement on August 7th, 2021. The stormwater overflowed into the town's sewage manholes and caused black water/solid waste to enter our home and at least 14 other family's homes in our neighborhood. La Crosse, Wisconsin took on about 6 in of rain within 1 hour and we watched sewage come up through our basement shower and laundry room drain, like a nightmare. We quickly called 911/fire department. A firefighter stood at the top of our stairs peering down at the 6 inches of poop water and said I'm sorry this is not an emergency." This happened to the other 14 families as well. The town claims no liability. We were in the basement as it was happening

I had a drain back up in my basement in one of my rental properties. I called White's and they had a crew out there faster than their promise of 4 hours. The got all of the water out of my basement and sprayed a disinfectant. They brought some equipment but decided not to place it as they thought there was no need and did not want to upcharge me for a service I didn't need. I appreciated their honesty and not trying to take advantage of the situation.

I stopped by today to utilize their free vehicle sanitation service. I was very happy with the care and overall happiness they had in taking care to make sure my vehicle and others were disinfected and sanitized during these times. The fact that they were doing this for first responders was amazing, but then letting anyone in the public take advantage of it too is truly above and beyond and shows the character of this company. I will be back again before this is over and I know I can count on them for any of their other services should I need them in the future!

We recently had a pipe burst in one of our rental properties. After talking with the plumber who fixed the pipe, we decided to hire White's to do the demo and restoration. Every single person we encountered throughout the process was very helpful. They did a fantastic job from start to finish and it looks great. Specifically, Morgan and Darryl stood out to me. When I had a question, Morgan would do whatever she could to answer that for me as quickly as possible. Darryl was doing the majority of the rebuild and did a great job. He went above and beyond to make sure it was done right and was very professional and helpful throughout the process!

Quick update:After meeting with Jon, we discussed the work needed to finish the job to my satisfaction. We agreed on the work needed and came up with a plan to finish the work. Although I was ready to ask for a refund and take care of the job myself, Jon was adamant that he took responsibility for completing the work and satisfying my expectations. I'm willing to let White's complete the work. I'll add another update when it's completed.I hired white's to do mitigation after water damaged my living room ceiling. The crew they sent, although courteous, was poorly supervised and trained. They showed up at the job site thinking they were doing a kitchen tear out, and failed to bring any materials or tools for starting the job. Beside breaking a glass door on a book shelf, they did a poor job of packing up my living room belongings, and improperly installed a dehumidifier so that it leaked water onto my wood floors. They also did not completely remove the old ceiling, leaving uneven edges at the borders of the area, so the crew that replaced the drywall had to spend time cutting out more of the ceiling to get a flush edge.Whoever is responsible for the crews failed to train the crew properly and blew off my requests for better service.I wound up having to do my own cleanup of the water leak issue, had to move and repack the bookshelves they were paid to move, and had to pay my remodelers for the demolition work that was inadequate. After reporting these issues to my insurance adjustor, he strongly recommended I not use them to do the remodeling work.

I had a pipe underneath my kitchen break when I was sleeping during the evening and woke up to find a huge mess. My entire basement pretty much has to be redone including sheet rock, ceiling everything carpeting, I do mean almost everything in my basement. That’s not to even mention the hardwood floors up in my kitchen and hallway and throughout my house.. I can easily say that I have never worked with a more professional, courteous, on time customer oriented company than Whites. I would recommend them to anyone. If you choose any other company other than Whites you are a fool. I can tell you that this situation has been so incredibly stressful and they’ve managed to work with my insurance and get here the next day and get things all taken care of. Please don’t use anyone else.

This company did a wonderful quick job on the water cleanup. However, the rebuild is going on a year and a half to get completed. The damage occured in September 2021 and they have only completed the drywall. Also, they did not use water safe drywall in the shower area. My greatest disappointment has been the lack of communication. Emails and texts have gone unanswered and my phone calls have not been returned. I would not recommend this company for the rebuild of any damage.Edit: The owner reached out to me and they are currently in the process of making things right. More to come.
