Burnaby Radio is a very specialized store. If you have to go here you already know what you are looking for. They have all sorts of Amateur Radio equipment. I got my ICOM 92-AD unlocked here. Because I also have my Marine Radio certificate my radio can now do Ham Frequencies and Marines ones. It's great to have a safety backup for when I'm up boating in Indian Arm.

Have sent numerous emails during the month of March to Burnaby Radio trying to purchase an Icom radio. Was told “My order is on the way”. Five weeks later Burnaby Radio has gone “Silent”. No answer to my follow up emails.

After visiting Mike the first time, you’re a friend. A great sales rep and a knowledgeable man for sure. Any radio needs, I strongly suggest seeing him. The store is currently closed, but he’s still available for online/ phone requests. So drop a line and he’s willing to help.I’ve now gotten 2 radios from him (truck & handheld) and a few miscellaneous parts here and there. It’s 5 star service every time.

OK, this is my candy store. I'm an amateur radio operator. My mouth waters when I get close to this place. My credit card gets some good use when I visit. And I walk out with really great stuff. My wife looks at me like I'm a fool when I tell her about what it is I have, but if you have a hobby like mine, you'll understand. So go, and spend some money.
