Bought a finch for my mothers birthday. The finch was in great condition and the prices at Marta's are affordable. The cashier was so kind and had great knowledge about the pets in the store and the bird. She made sure I had everything for me and my moms new pet. I would definitely buy a pet again here great shop with affordable prices! I travelled far to just to go to this store and it was definitely worth it! Would totally go again in a heartbeat. 5 stars is not enough to rate Marta’s Pet and Aquaria. We were in search of ferrets and the owner was so patient with us when we called over and over again (we had so many questions haha) and was so sweet from the very beginning. Never once did she sound annoyed at us and always seemed happy to answer any question.We went to the store to put a deposit and her system that she has in place is very professional and efficient. She was very open as to where her ferrets come from and even went as far as to get extra information for us to make sure we knew their entire medical history. (Unlike If you were to go to a bigger chain of pet store most of the time they come from mills and/or don’t know any medical history. Most of the time they come in very poor condition)After the deposit the owner would call us and let us know when the next delivery would be. She was very understanding that we lived far and wanted to make it the most comfortable for us when picking up our little guys. She had called us on her own to make sure we were well informed and knew what the plan was.She is the sweetest Angel and was so patient with us too when we were researching the best food and products too! We were such an inconvenience standing there and looking at every product and she was still the sweetest most helpful thing!Now we have two beautiful boys that are so active and bouncy. We were only coming for one and ended up falling in love with both and the owner let me buy both. I cannot recommend them enough and our experience with them is the best we have ever had.Thank you to everyone at Marta’s Pet and Aquaria! We love our new boys Cowboy and Brimstone! I can’t wait to go back in the future no matter how far it is!

Before going to get my daughter a bird, I did a lot of researching. Most of shop owners who don't work with Birds, recommended Marta's as good place to get a bird. I was getting frustrated after going to big chains such a Petsmart in which employees were friendly but they had next to nothing knowledge on Birds, generic stuff that anyone would know (I guess they are focusing on making money with Dogs and cats now). Yeah, maybe Marta's store is a bit cramped but I must admit that since both employees and the owner were so nice and helpful, I can easily ignore that. I spent a good 40min on my first visit asking everything I could and both employees who were very knowledgeable, supplemented me with information I would need and never tried to push me products I didn't need. Their prices are also so much better that even though you might think it's not your type of store, it might be worth going there just to check them out. I came back on the next day and met the owner, Doris. She was also very nice, patient and was willing to answer all my questions. I came back home with my lovely Geen Conure feeling that I had made an amazing choice by going there. All I can say is, my experience with them was great, I would definitely recommend them if you're looking a Bird.

I got a budgie bird for my daughter today. Very impressed with the service and the care owner showed to us. He is very knowledgeable and generous. If I had an option to give more than 5 stars out of 5, I would. Highly recommended!

i went here to get my cockatiel's nails clipped a while ago and the owner swung a fishing net over my bird to grab her... she was a little startled wasn't hurt but i think there are better ways to grab a bird, like using a towel.

I bought a bird(budgie) 2 weeks ago who passed away already....We have taken care of cockatiels for 10 years. We know what we are doing. I called and told her it passed away and I wanted a refund and she said they don't do refunds or exchanges. She's in it for the money. That place is not taken care of what so ever. It's an unclean mess, it smells horrendous and the animals are literally stuffed into small areas. I was taking photos of birds to show my family and she told me not to take photo, like there is something to hide. Big red flag and those poor animals should be taken care of better.
