The Salvation Army Thrift Store

Honestly best place to find random hidden gems.You like books? I've spent $90 on books here and have save $900 roughly had I bought them all from a bookstore at market price. And just because it's a thrift store doesn't mean books all in rough condition! I've found MANY books in pristine condition!!!Also, props to the super friendly staff! Sometimes if you're lucky, they will cut you deals sometimes if they find something they feel is fair to do. A box bookset I bought was missing a book because someone bought it individually. Was told if I happened to stumble upon it that they would do me the curtosy of letting me grab that one for free since it was supposed to be in the set.Also, one time they had a GIANT tent, but since it didn't have poles they sold it to me for a very reasonable price since they said they would probably have ended up throwing it out.I've had so many phenomenal experiences here and such kind and friendly service every single time I've gone in!Honestly my favourite little gem in this town :)

No junk here! Indeed, this location seems pricier than other Salvation Army Thrift stores, however, it's jam packed! Items seemed a higher quality and unique. Lots of great items and well displayed.Don't let the street front fool you, it's a good sized store inside.

Great selection, you can often find some real treasures here. Also, the Manager (Matt) was extremely helpful in helping me resolve a problem unrelated to the store itself. I've been in many thrift shops across the country, and this is definitely better than most of the others that I've visited.

The thrift store in Sackville is hilarious. They do not even stay open that late, but that isn't the point. When they are open, they are usually open until 7pm, and online it always says they are open. I have been there on multiple occasions, where it has been 4,5,6pm and they are closed. Today it was 6pm and i watched two workers just leave. As well as once I walked in at 5ish, and the guy working rudely says that they're closed, and when I looked it up they were supposed to be open for another two hours. Also the prices are ridiculous

So, I agree, a bit too pricy for a THRIFT store. Aside from that, great selection. Good to remember that there is a good cause that all proceeds go to...... #localguide

It's not very big. But it's clean friendly and so A few times I have stopped in. Never once planned on going in. It was all impulsive and every time found stuff to buy .I've always found it was pretty cool shop... You kind of really gotta look around because There's stuff on top of other items tuff etc in the non clothing section, and I have found items may be hidden behind others just maybe simply other customers looking at stuff and putting it back in the wrong shelf or area but I have also found some things appear to be stacked that way for the appearance. Anyways, check it out. If you don't like it, I don't care lol

Staff are always extremely helpful, kind and patient. Some items can be overpriced for second-hand, but they always have sales on, so it's worth checking in regularly. Plus, it's a very valuable resource for our community, which doesn't have a lot of places to shop, so I believe we should support it as much as possible.

Great friendly staff but I would expect low prices in a thrift shop. $40 stereo receiver or $20 tape deck, or $30 coffee maker. Seems high for my experience.

Great selection of name brand clothes . Also very helpful staff. They were able to assist me with full queen size sheet set and a comforter at no charge. Praise God and thanks.
