Amazing place, some of the kindest people you will ever meet. The food is delicious and comes at a very fair price. A must visit for any campers or hikers up in this area.Edit: just finished their peach pie. The crust was buttery, flakey, and held its shape. Filling was the perfect sweetness. I will be coming here again.

This place is definitely overpriced for the size and quality of their tarts. I bought a coconut raspberry tart instead of a buttertart. What can I say besides gross. The pastry was sooooo gross. I almost needed a magnifier to find the raspberry and the tart size was small. The tart along with a 355ml pop almost $6. Really overpriced. They DO NOT display prices where the pastries are kept. I absolutely will not buy there again not only due to the poor yet expensive quality of the baked goods but also due to how rude the male is that served me.

Rating is based solely on their butter tarts, which was one of, if not the sweetest, tarts on the Butter Tart Tour. The taste was reminiscent of toasted marshmallow and borderline tooth-achingly sweet, with a very pale yet flaky pastry that didn’t taste buttery so I imagine it was made with shortening or margarine.

What a great place to stop at. I visited them early in the morning and puchased a warm apple spice muffin...mmmm so good. I also purchased a fresh almost right out of the oven butter tart! This will be a must stopping location when we do our Ride the highlands" motorcycle tour. Thanks for the friendly customer service!"

Had the apple peach pie. Apples seemed to be from a can and only found a few peaches in it, maybe canned too.All we tasted was flour, the fruit was tasteless.Do enjoy the buttertarts though and the chèesebread, both very good, just will go elsewhere for pies.

no covid precautions and many hygiene issues. witnessed the owner use his phone and then proceed to roll out dough. haven’t seen him wash his hands much before touching the baked goods. he was on his cell phone while packing up my tarts, i found it very rude

This is the only place our family buys pies. We have a sayingless than 4 pies is a disgrace" I bought 4 pies today for my daughter and Granddaughter's birthday tomorrow.I had read a negative review about staff not taking covid precautions. Today the staff were wearing face shields so that is great! tI gave me confidence to make my purchase."

Zero COVID precautions. None of the staff were wearing masks while most of the customers were. The staff talked over the UNCOVERED food with no regard to their droplets spraying all over the pastries, food we planned on eating right away. Their tarts are delicious; in fact, the best we’ve ever had. But their COVID measures are a health hazard and we will not return unless they decide to wear masks.
