Beaver Lake Resort

Recommend - swimming spot for kids, epic kids playground, bathrooms for campers and dog friendly. Book in advance, as the Resort is well loved by many locals.

If your looking for a rustic, with all the conveniences, this is the place. The staff are very friendly, and helpful. Nice little beach, great for kids. Their rentals are all updated and great shape. If you want to spend a few days relaxing, THIS IS THE PLACE.

We stayed in the squirrel cabin which is very basic. We don't have a camper, so it's nice that they have these so we can join our friends when they camp. The staff are very friendly and they keep the resort super clean including the washrooms! It is a perfect spot for a families as there's a huge playground and a Beach area for the kids! The lake is perfect for all the water things including fishing and kayaking. My only wish is that a window opened in the little cabin to get some air flow.

We went up to Beaver Lake today to do some swimming and fishing. After unloading our stuff onto 1 of the 2 empty picnic tables, we went inside to purchase some fishing tac. We were approached by a rude female worker who told us they were to busy with registered guests and had no space for day use guests even though there was 2 free picnic tables, a free fire pit seating area, no one in the water at the beach and no one on the dock. Thanks for bring inclusive and sending our 4 kids away crying.

Beautiful resort/ campground. The site was spacious and had a nice amount of trees. The campground is beautiful, and has excellent amenities. The fenced dog park was such a nice surprise.The road to get there is a little dodgey, but totally worth it once you arrive. We definitely plan to visit again, and maybe stay in a cabin next time!

What a great spot, such wonderful people. Boats are fun, affordable and well maintained. Fishing is great!!

This was a new discovery for me. Didn't know this place existed. The road up was beautiful, very picturesque. You must stop by and take a picture at least once! The road is not easy but doable in a regular car but it is a gravel road so caution is strongly advised. The resort is situated on a rim of a beautiful, Lake. Lots of cabins to choose from, all different sized. Resort we'll maintained. Boats for rent even padał boats available at reasonable prices. I will definitely be Back.

Stayed here this past weekend for our families first camping trip & it was incredible! We didnt want to come homeThe staff are so friendly & welcoming, the grounds are so very well maintained, we stayed in suite 1 and it was amazing! DEFINITELY check out the wellness centre incredible!!!We cannot wait to come back the peace & serenity was breathtaking if I could give 100 stars I totally would we love this little piece of heaven highly recommend!!

Tried to book online for a weekend that was 2 weeks later. Sent a request in never heard back. I called there a few days later a lady said she got my request and they were behind and would look in to it get back to me. 5 days later I had to call back again only to find out they were booked solid for a lot of the upcoming weekends solid. Wow such great service??? Thanks for nothing.

A friend and myself headed up to enjoy a peaceful evening and roast some food on a fire. The grounds were clean, tidy, and seemingly very accommodating.We planned to only be there a couple hours, but I had zero issue purchasing the almost $6 1 day wifi package. We were respectful, cleaned up after ourselves, listened to mellow low volume music, did not consume alcohol or drug related substances. However, upon exiting the grounds and getting a little lost, we were flagged down by an aggressive man whom accused us of trespassing on private property and scoping out guests’ campsites/ property. Unbeknownst to us, this was a private resort for registered guests only. There is nothing on the website stating such, and something on Google mentioned there was public access.We would have respectfully left the grounds had someone approached us initially upon arrival or even shortly after, but to wait until we’re leaving to approach us aggressively was just super unprofessional and for lack of a better term, “ick”. The attitude and nature of the communication from this individual was enough to change our impression of the resort. This man claimed to be the manager, but when asked his name, told us it was none of our business.Coincidentally I had just been raving about how I couldn’t wait to come rent a cabin. Was sending photos to friends and family. However, all it takes is one garbage experience with a garbage human and it ruins everything.Given the other reviews, it seems we are not the only people who have had negative experiences with this individual. This man is also likely to leave a super passive aggressive response to this review as well.To the manager: do better.
