Growing Hope FARM
Greatest country living place to visit while still being in the city.Wife and i had a blast bottle feeding the little goats. They loved it and we loved doing it.Checking out all the chickens was fun.I even tried the zip line. Make sure your facing towards the direction you're being pulled up before hopping on the little seat (you'll know what i mean when youre there).Love their littlebstore amd enjoy their honour system..

What a wonderful place to spend the afternoon! The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, and the goats were excited and happy to be fed and pet! There are many goats to see as well as chickens and bees. I will be definitely be coming back for more fun feeding the animals!

What could have been a nice excursion with our kids was marred by the fact that the goats appear to have Orf Virus, which causes bleeding sores on the goats and can be transmitted to people by petting and bottle feeding them! In people it causes painful sores that last up to 6 weeks. Obviously if we had known that, we would NEVER have let our toddler play with them! Hopefully our kid doesn’t get sick. After taking our money, the woman at the gate casually mentioned that the goats had some sores, but there was nothing that they could do about it for the goats. No mention of danger to people. What a racket. Go at your own risk. We won’t be back.

I teach the Goat yoga here and was quite surprised to find out about this little gem in the city. Sarah and her family create a space of learning and bring a little nature to our town in a unique way. Their focus on the health and happiness of the animals and allowing people the freedom to learn and experience something that often we don't get a chance to is liberating. The fact that the farm is also non-profit just adds to the experience. Please come out and visit. Even if it's just to take pictures and buy a pot of honey.

We started as a really cool experience but it turned bad quickly. Lots of goats and feeling opportunities to interact with the goats (feeding them milk).Unfortunately, they have 2 young mountain dogs guarding the farm we’re considered friendly and playful turned out the to attack my 11 yr old from both side resulting in being bit and receiving bruising and minor lacerations. Be very careful of the dogs. I left my number and a photo of the injury and the owner has yet to respond. We had left our number and a photo but the owner never responded.

I wanted to love this place - I really did. We came here for goat yoga. We were put in a field full of weeds, the grass was not cut, in direct sunlight, with poop all over the grass where we were laying our Yoga mats. Honestly, I got over that pretty quick. However, what I did not realize initially is that the goats you do YOGA with, are also the goats IN THE FREEZER. I am sorry, but this is absolutely immoral and honestly creepy. Many of the goats were extremely sick, with snot running down their faces and coughing :( We left the farm feeling extremely guilty, and sad. Poor little babies...

Great place to visit within in the city of Cambridge. Can be accessible by public transit or car. You can bottle feed baby goats, brush them, pet them and even take them for little walks. The farm has dogs, chickens, turkeys, a pig, older goats and fruit/veggies to buy in season. You can collect your own fresh eggs for a price from the chicken coops. There's a small playground area for you get kids and a zip line. The proceeds of the ticket sales go to support MCC. Great place to go that isn't too far and your ticket price goes to a fantastic organization!*note, these are all male goats and will be used for meat in the future so don't go if that bothers you*

Love this farm!! Its been amazing to see the growth of this small-scale volunteer-run organization over the past few years. It provides so much to everyone it touches. Being in the grocery industry I think we have lost touch with where our food comes from, and this farm brings us back to what matters – community and good food.I feel really good about supporting Growing Hope Farm whether it’s by feeding and cuddling the goats, purchasing organic free range eggs, the yummy jams, OMG-to-die-for honey, and more. All proceeds collected go towards MCCC’s agricultural projects abroad, so not only am I supporting a local farm, but supporting those abroad as well.Growing Hope Farm also provides many volunteer opportunities to people living with a disability, those who have had correction services encounters, local children and more.Would highly recommend checking it out!! Try getting to know the goats and come back for the community :)
