**Edit - they reached out to me to apologize for the oversight in not mentioning the fee. They tried to make it right by coming out again to try and fix the problem, however I have since found someone else. I will note that I am only speaking to the original experience of not being told about a service fee. I can’t speak to the quality of the their work, though I did choose them originally based on their great reviews.Original review- I have to say they were prompt in sending someone out even though I said it wasn’t an emergency. However, when the technician showed up, he told my husband it was a $25 service fee. I have no issue paying a fee if it was discussed up front and I had been given a choice whether to accept it or not. The 2 stars is for not disclosing up front there was a service fee.

Marcus was fantastic! I was a little stressed about my garage door opener that suddenly quit. But, he took care of it all. Saved me time and $$. I would highly recommend Rio Garage Door to friends and family. Thanks again.

Best customer service ever. They had unbeatable prices, high quality doors, and there install was quick and professional. Marco is one of the most professional businessmen I've ever met and their customer service was amazing. After they installed the garage door another company that put in my insulation accidentally cut into one of the wires. Marco, at the end of a long day, came back to my site to reinstall the entire wire system free of charge. He is the most professional, hardworking, and character guy you can ask for. 10 out of 10 and highly recommended

Another great experience! I had Rio replace my garage door and springs 4 years ago and they gave me superlative service. Now I had to replace the garage door opener and contacted them again. Prompt service and reasonable price as expected. The technician was courteous, gave me various options, and was even able to accommodate a later appointment than originally scheduled. Found them on google search, contacted them, they very promptly replied back without any time delay, we agreed on payment terms, they scheduled me and the technician was very prompt on updates on his expected time of arrival, he came and I didn’t had to hang around him, he completed his work very fast. I couldn’t hold myself telling him that he was doing a great job. He provided me with all contact details, money receipt and walked me through his workmanship and also told me about preventive care.
