Dawson General Store
This has to be the best little store in Thunder Bay. A variety of products including a large selection from local businesses ranging from meats, bakery, coffee and more. They also have take out food including burgers, awesome pizza and the best fried chicken. I say the best because it is my favorite. If you haven't tried it, then try it and you'll see. Topping this off is most courteous, friendliness staff. I would recommend checking this place out if you haven't already.

Just had a slice of their breakfast pizza…sooooo good! Perhaps the best slice I’ve had in Thunder Bay. The crust was perfection! I will definitely be back for more goodies.

Great place to stop for a snack or something cool to drink. If you end up there earily enough in the day. You may be able to get a breakfast bisket full of eggs, sausage bits, and cheese. It is the perfect pick you up in the morning. It is also a nice place to stop and stretch your feet and take a break on your travels. Many other food and beverages are available as well as gas and a restroom. Be sure to stop in to see everything that they offer. And, I assure you the breakfast bisket will surely not disappoint.

Vast variety of foods to purchase. I love the locally produced selections available. My only gripe is i wish it were cheaper, but...hey, it`s worth a couple or few extra bucks I suppose.

Upscale convenience store ... Sound like an oxymoron? I can't think of a better way to describe it. I've been to stores similar to this in downtown locations of bigger cities (Toronto, Vancouver, Brooklyn), but I never expected to see this in a highway convenience store, in Thunder Bay. The store is chalk full of locally made items ... from breads to pastas to soups. Additionally they have prepared foods, both hot and cold for you to grab n' go. There is a little coffee station in the corner, a freezer full of ice cream and a refrigerated section of fresh produce. This is my new favourite store. Will definitely be back.

WOW ! ! My new fav place in Tbay. The staff are friendly, engaging and support community and social change. My type of place. Lots of local products combined with creative FRESH food ie - the BREKFAST BOMB is OUTSTANDING ! ! ! ! By far the best breakfast “sandwich” in TBAY ! Next time I will get three, two for the ride home and one with coffee when I get home.The pride cake was one of the best cakes I’ve eaten in years. Fresh local ingredients, fluffy and light but packed with flavor. Incredible!!!Keep the creative food ideas coming and most importantly keep up the good fight for human rights
