I have worked at Dr. Hugo's practice for over a year and my experience has been nothing short of extraordinary. Dr. Hugo and his amazing team of psychotherapists are compassionate, caring, and committed to helping clients achieve their goals and work through a variety of life issues. I felt welcomed and honoured to work collaboratively and closely with him and his team. Dr. Hugo was also a dedicated supervisor in my journey to becoming a registered psychotherapist, following up closely on every client's needs and course of treatment. Dr Hugo, is a great therapist. He has helped me deal with some major life events. I can honestly say he truly does care about his patients. He has gone above and beyond to help me in the past when needed. He doesn't waste your time he wants to get to the issue and help you manage/deal with it. Dr. Stevenson is my therapist for a while now. He is helping me discovering myself. Made a phone call as an initial inquiry and Dr. Hugo seemed to genuinely care about my healing/ wellbeing. I was skeptical about therapy but I’m starting to feel better about it.

My son is a patient of Dr. Stevenson and I spent a great deal of time researching to find the right Psychologist. Having met Dr. Stevenson for the first time, I knew he had the right skills and technique that I was looking. My son's condition is very complicated, he has a personality disorder and has recently been diagnosed as being schizophrenia. Having met my son for the first time Dr. Stevenson knew what my son was suffering from, however I was in denial. Dr. Stevenson has extensive knowledge in mental disorders. He is a very caring and compassionate doctor, would call my son late at night to see how he is doing. He starts out with building the trust with his patient and then work with the patient. I am grateful that we have found Dr. Stevenson and will continue to see him.

Dr. Hugo Stevenson is an outstanding psychologist and a kind, caring person in general. He has a natural ability to get deep down into your illness and bring out the real cause and provide appropriate treatment. Our son started treatment with Dr. Stevenson for what appeared to be depression, anxiety & ADD along with self-harm and suicidal thoughts. Dr. Stevenson was able to draw out our son's pain inside that was buried for several years and a clear diagnosis was established that allowed for specific treatment strategies. Dr. Stevenson helped us get through a very difficult and stressful situation that has affected our entire family. Dr. Stevenson always made himself available at any time or day for our son and we are eternally grateful for his knowledge and expertise to help our son turn his life around.
