Makimono Sushi Bar Restaurant
The food is better than I expected. Their avocado salad, Chicken Karage, shrimp with broccoli and ginger ice cream are tasty.The table is a little bit sticky like other review mentioned. It looks like it could be cause by the coating of the table. We visited on Saturday noon and it’s not too busy. The service is also good.

Makimono Sushi Bar Restaurant
We came here for lunch and we are a big group. Service is acceptable, they are always on top of our needs either clearing unnecessary dishes or waste disposal. Our orders came promptly, and everything we ordered was delivered with the help of our robot hostess. The food is fresh, and delightful according to our palate. We enjoyed our time here.

It’s been over a month since I came here, the servings are on smaller portions since they increased their prices. The taste is still the same on our usual meals and the kicker is our very rude Waitress with no customer service skill.

Makimono Sushi Bar Restaurant
First time here with a large group of 12. The waiter was super patient with us and accommodated our every need. The food came out relatively quick & the robot going around was helpful too. It was one of our member’s birthday and the robot played a happy bday song which was so sweet. The food was very fresh and well made and we are very happy with our experience. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Absolutely delicious food! Wonderful all-you-can-eat sushi for a decent price and you're allowed to bring home a food for under $5 if you don't finish what you ordered! Definitely plan to come back

Been here a couple of times. Food is great, they offer some lunch bento for a good price ans the sushis are fresh. The service is OK depending on your server of course but it's kept to a minimum (you can be served by the cat robot which is always cool). I must say the chairs are not comfortable.

This place is my go to place for sushi as it is close to home. I didn't know they offered all-you-can-eat as well! I will be back for dinner! The staff was very nice. The food tasted very good. Zero complaints!! The price paid for over 50 pieces of sushi, 2 appetizers and 1 soft-shelled crab was very good. A must-try if you are in the area!! Before I forget they have robots to bring out your food!! Great entertainment for kids!!

To put it short, the food was tasty and the portions were huge! Everything was cooked great but I believe it lacked something that didn’t make me feel something special. Overall great service, food came out fast, and its a nice place. If you want quick japanese food that’s affordable, come here!

Service was good, food was not so good.I was served some sub par tuna which had an unfresh extra fishy taste to it.Also i had some mackerel sashimi that somehow had a crunch in it.On the bright side the service was polite and they didnt blame me for the stale tuna.However the waitress looked mad because i didnt tip due to the unfresh tuna.Thank God tips are not obligatory.Too bad as i wanted to like this spot over wakame sushi but unfortunately its a fail just like wakame sushi is a fail (weston 401).Id say you are better off at echo sushi (eglington and yonge) for ayce and new generation is good from what i hear for non ayce.

Food was better than I expected. Unfortunately many sushi buffets have gone downhill IMO. The price was about $30 and the hand rolls were much better than I thought. Sashimi tasted fresh and was excellent.Two drawbacks: pepper beef was a bit tough and dry and the waitress did not come by as often as I'd like although she did offer a top up on drinks.Dining area was very clean and iPad ordering was simple and easy. Food came out in a timely manner and the washroom was nice. Ample parking. I would definitely recommend this place and come again.I was stuffed I didn't even leave room for dessert which I will do next time. I love deep fried bananas with ice cream.
