Green Bottle Depot Windermere

Everything is fine but the cash desk. I was given my change stacked on bills and when i went to put them into my wallet $2.50 fell on the floor. I went to pick them up but there is a grill with about a 20 cm deep channel under the grill where my money landed. I pointed it out to the asian guy and he laughed at me.

Just had a great experience here today! Roderick was extremely helpful, polite and professional. He helped bring in my load which was huge and was cheerful and friendly throughout the entire time I was there. I was also helped by James who was also extremely polite and professional. I apologized for bringing in such a large load and both gentlemen said they were happy it gave them something to do. I was dreading tackling this task but they both made it a pleasant experience! I highly recommend going to this depot and will be doing so in the future even though there are closer depots to my home! Great work!

One of the best depots in the city. Very clean and fast

Located in Windermere, green bottle depot is a big, CLEAN, organized bottle depot. It even has a drive-up window to make things even easier for you. They have big buggies you can take out to your car to help move bottles. There’s a hand washing station, donation bins for your bottles if you choose, and even a clothing donation bin. Parking and waiting times have never been an issue. Staff are very friendly and fast at counting bottles.

Very neat and organized bottle depot.Attendants are quite fast and friendly.There is a place to wash your hands afterwards and there are bathrooms on site.Kids get sweets/lollipop.It is also close to other businesses and location is accessible.Free parking is available.

Clean depot, efficient staff and accurate counting.Edit: First time count was inaccurate. Spoke to the managers and they were very nice and cordial about it and offered to check their cameras. It takes a bit of time but after the review they gave me the difference and were very apologetic about it (they said it was a new employee but were taking full responsibility for it). I really like that they have cameras above each station to validate any concerns you may have as at other depots it's your word vs. theirs and there is no way you would ever get back what was truly owed. Still 5 stars for how they handled this but hoping this doesn't happen again.

This is my favorite place to recycle those returnables. Clean and bright, despite the messiness of what they have to deal with. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I love the addition of the wash up area to remove the sticky from handling pop cans.
