The hike is better than the destination. Was a bit disappointed when we reached there as we were expecting more. But the trails in the island are nice.

The river views are similar to the trail near the entrance. But this has more trees, and less people :)

Very few people at times. Trails are for the most part, very well maintained. But if it's rained alot in the area, bring some gum boots lol.

Nice walk, not too mucky in the rain. Ends at a nice little riverside beach. At high tide the last section of trail can flood. Worthwhile year round. Watch for eagles hanging out by their nests!
