Langara Students' Union

The student health care plan customer service is abysmal. Well into March and my wife's plan hasn't been activated despite already paying the money in early January. Called 4-5 times already and was told to wait 2 weeks each time. A huge waste of time!

Nice place to spend when you have gaps btwn classes

A place for students to hang out, relax and get services offered by the Student Union.

This place used to be a decent restaurant but recently it has taken a turn for the worst. A few months ago this resturrest used to be one of the few decent places to get food on Langara campus. Unfortunately, management changed or something of the sort. The portions are smaller, waits are longer, the staff often forget orders leaving you waiting for 45+ minutes for an overpriced, mediocre rice bowl or sushi combo. I cannot recommend this restaurant in its current state, one of the few terrible eating experiences I've had. If you want to get Japanese food walk to 44th and Cambie to a place called samurai sushi for cheaper prices, short waits, and larger portions.

Nice place to relax. Sports supplies are also offered here.

“Vegan” poke bowl was one of the most offensive things I have ever put in my mouth - not only were the vegetables doused in mayonnaise (not vegan) therefore making that part inedible for me, the tofu was literally prefried, dried, refrigerated and served shriveled, hard as a rock, and COLD. And you bet that this 75% canned meal took forever to be made. You have to yell to get the service staff member at the till’s attention as he’s glued to his phone - not washing his hands between using it and serving the food. Way better vegan options in the Langara Cafeteria.

Very nice place to chill out and wait for next classes.

They are kind and ready to help. Just talked to Kam kaur. She is so knowledgeable in Immigration staff and she gave me a very good sense of my situation. Consultation with them is highly recommended.

Mostly nice. The cafe is good but it can be noisy at times in the building
