Kook Korean BBQ Restaurant
The first thing that make me really impressed is the service so good and nice. We order the combination A for 2. The food comes quickly then and really tasty. The proportion is really OK including the salad, meat, soup and rice. We also order 1 pancake but the BBQ already full fill us. Definitely one of the best BBQ especially the service.

Great food, helpful staff. All servers helped each other so we didn't have to wait for anything. They explained everything before we ate (good for those who haven't had Korean bbq before). The Korean meats were well marinated and good portions. Most Korean bbq is a bit more pricey but this place is definitely worth it. Everything was clean including the bathrooms. Ambiance was nice, good music, and nice graphics/art. The side dishes were all bottomless if you wanted refills. Overall, great experience and will definitely come back again and bring more family and friends.

Korean BBQ combo C. Way more food than we expected, 6 people barely finished all the food. The entrance staff wasn’t too friendly but the other staff who served us for the rest of the night were all friendly and provided great service. Love the different side dishes you get here and they still have refill for side dishes. The place does get very busy so make sure you have reservation. Would definitely love to come back again for family dinner.

I’ve been to several Korean BBQ restaurants in Vancouver and now, Kook is officially my number one.This is the only place where you will get quality not only with the amazing food, but with the exceptional customer service from the staff!They work as a team and are very attentive to your needs. One of the servers noticed our table was full and couldn’t fit the pot of soup so he poured it into the bowls and distributed it to each person! They’re always super friendly, kind and patient.The Korean BBQ itself never disappoints!The meat is so full of flavour, the 15 different side dishes were all delicious and the soup was perfect.I’ve ordered the combo for 2 and 4 before and each time, we had leftovers! The price may look steep but it’s worth it for the quantity & quality of the food.On a side note, the restaurant itself is very spacious & clean!Thanks Kook for such an amazing experience, I’ll definitely be coming back soon!PS- I recommend to reserve online or you’ll have to wait almost an hour since they’re so busy! Definitely worth it though!

Love how they give 15 banchan (side dishes) when you order from their BBQ menu. Enjoyed the variety since most places only offer two or three (plus, they were refillable).We ordered the bbq combo so it came with the banchan and doenjang jjigae. We were beyond stuffed by the end of our meal. Service was also amazing because their staff was very attentive.Highly recommend you make a reservation if you come here because they can get really busy.

Amazing variety and quality of side dishes, and the meat was well marinated and delicious! I was also pleasantly surprised as to how large the fried chicken order was! Costs a little more for kbbq, but the quality, service and taste definitely makes it worthwhile! It can be difficult to make a reservation as they’re usually booked up far in advance, but I would definitely recommend trying this place for a solid kbbq option.

I wouldn't expect that street mall would have a fancy restaurant. It is a modern looking place, just black everything with spotlights. I really like their services, nice and energetic servers. Food, I like their marinated beef and pork, juicy and tender meat. However, their seafood pancake is not good at all. Can't taste the freshness of the seafood and the crunchy exterior didn't impress me. I had way better seafood pancakes in other local Korean restaurants. I guess their specialty is the highend BBQ meat, can't go wrong with that one. I also like their circle of side dishes with unlimited refills. Our stomachs were filled up very quickly. Those decorative frogs are cute too. They don't have a phone number for reservation, all reservations lead to an online booking system. It takes a month of time to book in the time slot after 5pm and before 8pm. However, my friends told me you can probably walk in and get a table. Is it worth the wait for one month for this restaurant? No. Maybe at another restaurants, but not this one. Just go randomly and try your luck.

Amazing, Sofia was a perfect waitress, the table grill had its own air suction so there is no smell. In the middle of the meal the waitress replaced the grill for a clean one without request.Flavored food.Nice digestive drink with cinnamon and clove.Highly recommend!

Kook Korean BBQ Restaurant
This is my first time going to the Korean BBQ place my friend invited me to. At first, I was reluctant to go since I dislike the smell of BBQ on my clothes afterwards. However, the restaurant actually has pretty good ventilation. The food arrived quickly even though the restaurant was busy. I heard that you usually need to book a table two weeks in advance. The meat was nicely marinated and tender. The restaurant also has a lot of free parking spaces. As seen in the picture, the side dishes were amazing. We also ordered the spicy chicken, which was juicy and delicious. I will definitely head back when I want Korean BBQ again.
