We had a very challenging weather day on set and Jean-Marc went out of his way to make it comfortable for all of us. He made sure we were able to still achieve our goal for capturing these beautiful images. Highly recommend these friendly talented folks!

Jean-Marc and Poppy really made our day come alive!Even before the actual wedding, Jean-Marc met with us and was so helpful. He answered all of our questions, gave us an approximate timeline, and has lost of extra services available. (I.e. printing, albums, etc)Day of, they were professional, knowledgeable, and really helped us relax, even though both of us can be a bit awkward when getting photos taken. They were so much fun to work with and I think that really shows in the quality of our photos. I would highly recommend them to anyone for any of their photography needs. We will definitely be using Studio Lumen in the future!

Having Gillian and Jean-Marc shoot some content photography for my financial coaching business was such an easy-going experience! Usually I'm not that comfortable having my picture taken; never knowing what to do or how to pose. They made it easy by having a conversation during the photoshoot and the images turned out great! What to say about Gillian, Jean-Marc, and the rest of the Studio Lumen team? Taking pictures is incredibly low on my list of things I would like to be doing with my time, but the Studio Lumen team was able to create a loose atmosphere and get through my headshots very quickly. Although the actual picture taking itself will always be a chore for me, the whole team made me feel comfortable and relaxed, and the end result was more than I could have expected. The BEST decision we made for our wedding was hiring Studio Lumen to photograph our big day. Gillian instantly put our minds at ease with her calm and collected way of capturing moments whilst still being able to push the day's schedule along. Gillian was able to coach us through some posing techniques that really came in handy and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. My particular favourite thing about their work was the incredible candid moments that they captured for us. I highly recommend them for your upcoming wedding. You will not be disappointed.

After I joined the company (The Agency Inc) along with 3 other new hires we had our professional head shots done by Studio Lumen. We’re so happy that we chose studio Lumen for our big day! From their work on the website, We immediately knew that studio Lumen was the one! Jean Marc and his team are great to work with. From our fist phone conversation to several online meetings afterwards, Jean Marc patiently explained everything, answered our questions and most importantly tried to get to know us to make sure we get what were looking for. For some reasons we couldn’t have an engagement session before the wedding and the wedding day was the first day to meet with the team. However, it felt like we knew him for a long time. Jean Marc made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera . We didn’t even notice we were being photographed. We love our wedding photos! All the moments have been captured and I love that we’ve got different photos of the same pose from different angles! so you have the option of choosing the one you like the best! We had the privilege to work with the amazing Jean-Marc and Gillian for our wedding and we had an absolute blast. We always had prompt replies to emails and questions, and it was easy to see from the start (our first meeting) that they both love photography and wished to help make our wedding photography exactly what we wanted it to be. They were so much fun to be around that there was no awkwardness during the photo taking and their personalities were so bright and energetic. They also handled the kids and family very well, so that the many many family photos that we had to do were done in a flash. They were also very open to all our crazy photo ideas and gave just as many ideas in return. When all was said and done, we received our photos super quickly and there were so many! They gave us many options of key shots so that we could pick exactly which position or expression we liked best. We had such a great experience with them and are so happy with their work, we couldn't recommend them more!

Gillian and Jean Marc took beautiful food photos for my business.Both were very easy to work with, accommodating and respectful in our email and in person conversations.The shoot took an entire day as I wanted various angles of quite a few food products. They used tethered capture, so I was able to see and approve the photos as we moved along.Gillian did a wonderful job styling all the photos.I recommend Studio Lumen to anyone who wants quality photos taken by great people.
