One of the worst places I’ve ever worked . First day they wasted my time for hours, provided absolutely no training and screwed me around for days after. I was working with broken carts and inncorect supplies and made to clean months of build up from other employees unable to do their job .the supervisors are “ non working” and never available to you for assistence or help. Not only that but when it came to getting paid there was hours missing and very rude, unhelpful aggressive staff when you ask about pay. Was not paid accordingly and excessively bullied into believing I wasn’t deserving of my pay even after showing proof that I had worked on the specified days. Do not reccomend this company to ANY BODY

First let me say that I have been with imperial cleaners for over 12 yrs and within that time I have been treated with respect.I work hard, and at times long hrs as my job is to make sure our clients are happy. Saying that, it is my choice to work the way I do. I would definitely encourage friends to come aboard as it's a great place to work.

I have been using Imperial for over 12 years at different facilities. Mary and her team have always been responsive and work hard to complete any task provided. I appreciate that I can count on them in my role as Facilities Manager.

Imperial Cleaners has been our cleaning provider for the last 6 months. I am very pleased with our cleaner Patti, the quality of chemicals and products provided and the communication between myself and the operations manager Mary! Thank you for your professionalism!

I've worked for imperial cleaners for almost 6 years. I absolutely love my job, and the management and all who work in the office. They honestly care about their employees and the contracts they have. We never have to go without supplies and products and they are always available for you. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoy working with this company. I highly recommend them for all your cleaning needs and if your looking for work, you won't be disappointed.

Written by Tia Crann (Andrew's wife)I have never genuinely wanted to give a place less than one star rating, but this is it, this company deserves 0 on everything across the board.Have already put in a complaint with NS Labor Standards board. My husband and I both worked with Imperial Cleaners. We were sent to clean Citadel Hill in Halifax, NS and the previous cleaner who had been there had completely neglected the place. The urinals and toilets were moldy and clogged with old bits of urinal puck, the exhibits had not been dusted in many months, among many other issues. We worked hard and got the site up to a better standard of clean; however, when we started asking about days off after working 13 days straight, we were treated in a very hostile manner. The Operations manager that we dealt with, was the absolute most unprofessional person I have ever had to deal with in any workplace. She would ignore my texts or emails about time off and when I finally mentioned (after 19 days straight of working) that this was illegal business practices she would not discuss with me via message anymore and wanted us to go in to the office and have an unrecorded conversation with her. She continually made us feel like we were being reprimanded for asking for time off. We tried to be more than reasonable and ask for every second weekend off and that was it, she claimed she was working tirelessly to try and get us time off. Things escalated on our 21st day of working straight. She fired us via text message because I told her to stop using unprofessional and hostile language towards me in her messages. (saying what hell, are you even going to work today thats all I'm asking you - in reference to me asking again about time off the coming weekend) her message to fire us was well then here this is official

Out of all the jobs i had Imperial Cleaners is number one on my list there a great company to work for they do a lot for there staff especially me and i appreciate everything that they do.

Worst company I have ever worked for. Awful management who cares about nothing besides their bottom line. Freely breaches labour laws with no concern repeatedly. Fails to communicate with staff in timely manner if at all. Save yourself the stress with this company.
