This place is soo much fun for kids and adults, no wonder it was so popular they closed it down to the public. If you can book a birthday party here, do it!

Visited as part of Doors Open 2017 - special event. An excellent venue for kids age 2-6 years to ride mini steam trains through the forest. Some trains powered by coal or electricity. We saw miniature displays along the sides and went over bridges. The kids were thrilled! Staffed by dedicated hobbyists who love trains. Outdoor workshop area to watch the engineers working on the trains. A few outdoor benches. Kids must be able to sit straight and not lean over during the ride as it may tip the trains. Parking: none available on the property on this day. We parked along the shoulder of the road. Hard packed dirt paths - some areas not easily accessible by wheelchair or strollers. One set of stairs to climb over the tracks. Bathrooms - port a potty. No food on site to purchase but because it was a Doors Open event, there was a table selling bottled water and snacks. Tip: follow up with a visit to the Bill Fisch Forest Stewardship and Education Centre nearby (flush toilets!).

riding on little steam trains was great experience!PS: we arrived about 40mins after opening and had to wait 3h to ride.
